5X Bluetooth Fish Finder
- Battery Only Charging to 85% – This issue is resolved by updating to the latest software version from the Appstore or Google Play Store- It is not a hardware issue, but rather a glitch in a previous software version.
- Seeing Constant Line Of Fish – Adjust the sensitivity, if icons are turned on in VirtuView or FishScape thermoclines will show as a constant line of fish. Turn down sensitivity or switch to FishScape HD.
- Unit Not Working In Pool – Sonar cannot function in a pool, bucket or any container. The signal bounces off of the sides and creates erratic readings. It must be an open body of water.
- Can I Use While On Boat Moving – Yes, you can set it in the hull and use some petroleum jelly as a binder it will shoot through (it will also work if there is a little water in the bilge it can sit in)
- Battery Life – FishPod = full day of fishing. If phone is older, it may only give you 4-5 hours of battery life due to the need for the screen to be always on. We suggest using a power source for your phone such as connecting it to the 12 volt source on your boat or using a portable charger/power bank.
