Product Information

The product is a camera that can be connected to a network for remote monitoring. It comes with a 3-year warranty, which can be registered by sending the Amazon Order ID to support@wgvtech.com. The camera supports a maximum of 128GB micro SD card for local storage. It has an IR light, a status light, an SD card slot, a microphone, a speaker, and a reset button. The camera can be mounted on a flat surface using the included mounting bracket

  • Q: Failed to add during network configuration?
    A: Please make sure your phone is connected to a router in the 2.4GHz band and ensure that the Wi-Fi password is correct.

  • Q: After scan adding is still unsuccessful?
    A: Reset the device or power off the device after scan adding is still unsuccessful, and then try to add it again.

  • Q: The device cannot preview normally.
    A: Please check if the network signal is too weak. Place the camera close to the router. If the issue persists, reset the camera and add it again.

  • Q: How to switch the camera network to another router?
    A: First remove and reset the device on the app, and then configure the network for the device again through the app.

  • Q: Why does the device not recognize the TF card?
    A: Please remove and insert the TF card after powering off. Check if the TF card is working normally and whether it is in FAT32 format. In unstable network conditions, the TF card might not be recognized.

  • CAUTION: Please insert the Micro SD Card according to the direction shown in the diagram. Micro SD Card might jam if inserted incorrectly, and the device could be damaged.
  • SD Card Slot: Supports micro SD cards for local storage with a maximum capacity of 128GB.
  • Reset Button: Used to restore the camera to factory settings. Press and hold for 5-8 seconds.
  • Status Light: Blinking Red Light – Wait for network connection (slow) Solid Blue Light – Connecting the network (fast) Solid Red Light – Camera is working correctly Camera is malfunctional

• App Installation and Setup

  • To operate the camera, the WGV App needs to be installed.
  • Search for “WGV” on the Apple Store or Google Play Store to install the app.
  • Alternatively, scan the QR code below to download the WGV App to your Android or Apple device.

• Mounting the Camera

  • Put the camera on a flat surface.
  • Use the included mounting bracket to attach the camera to a flat surface.

• What is required:

  • Power Drill (not provided)
  • 15/64 6(mm) Drill Bit

• Register an Account

  • Open the App to register an account. Go to the login interface and click “Sign Up”.
  • Sign up with your email address and click “Next”.
  • Set up a nickname and password for your App, then click “Done” to complete.

• Set up WiFi for the Camera

  • Bring both your mobile phone and WGV camera close to your router (maximum distance of 5 meters / 16 feet).

Note: The WGV camera can only connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal and does not support using a 5GHz signal. Please connect to a 2.4GHz signal on your network.

What is required

Register an Account

The WGV App is required to operate the camera. Signing up for storage in the cloud is optional and not necessary when using an onboard Micro SD card.

1. Open the App to register an account. Go to the login interface and click”Sign Up”
2. Sign up with your email address, and click”Next”.
3. Set up an “Nickname” and “Password” for your App, click “Done” to complete.

Set up Wifi for the camera

1. Bring both your mobile phone and your WGV camera close to your router( max distance of 5 meters / 16 feet )
   • Note: The WGV camera can only connect to a 2.4 GHZ Wifi signal. It does not support using a 5 GHZ signal. Please connect to a 2.4G signal on your network as shown in the below illustration
2. Log in to “WGV , then tap the “Add Device” icon in the center. Tap “Power Plug Camera” to add device.
3. “Nextet the device and wait for a flashing RED indicator light, then tap
4. When connecting , you should make sure that the router, mobile phone and the WGV camera and are as close together as possible ( max
5. meters / 16 feet ) When a successful connection occurs a “click” will be heard and a check mark will be shown like in the image below. The WGV camera will show with a numerical name that can be changed to your liking such as Baby Camera, Pet Camera, or any other name.

3. A scan B’S QR Code or input B’s account ID
