Product Usage Instructions

Guitar Input:

  1. Insert a standard connector of a Guitar into the Guitar input jack (2) on the top of the speaker.
  2. Control the guitar volume with a knob (19).

Mic Input:

WARNING: It is recommended that the speaker’s volume knob be turned all the way to the left to prevent any feedback or loud pops when connecting the microphone.

  1. Insert a standard 6.35mm jack plug of the wired microphone (included) into the microphone input jack (3) and/or (4) on top of the speaker.
  2. Control the volume with a knob (22).
  3. Control the mic echo with a switch (18).

Aux/Line Operation:

  1. To use the speaker with an AUX/LINE source, plug one connector of the 3.5mm audio cable into the 3.5mm auxiliary audio input jack (5) on the speaker.
  2. Plug the other connector into the headphone jack of your media-playing device.
  3. Use the MODE button (10) to switch into LINE mode. The display will show LINE.
  4. Playback is controlled via the connected device.

USB Operation:

  1. Insert a USB device into USB port (7) to play the music stored on the drive.
  2. The play will start automatically.

Micro-SD Operation:

  1. Insert a microSD card into the TF port (6) to play music stored on the drive.
  2. The play will start automatically.

Mode Button:

Press the MODE button (10) to toggle between modes: BT, AUX, USB, TF.

Mic Pri Button:

  1. Short press the MIC PRI button (8) to activate the microphone priority function in BT, USB, TF mode. The display will show o-ON.
  2. Press again to cancel this function. The display will show o-OF.
  3. When this function is activated, the volume of the music will decrease when you speak into the microphone and resume when you stop speaking.

Next Track Button:

  1. Short press the NEXT TRACK button (13) to move forward in steps through the playlist in BT, USB, and TF mode.
  2. Keep the button pressed to increase the volume.

Previous Track Button:

  1. Short press the PREVIOUS TRACK button (11) to move back through the playlist in BT, USB, and TF mode.
  2. Long press this button to reduce the volume.

Play/Pause/Repeat/TWS Button:

  1. Short press this button (12) to play/pause the music in BT, AUX, USB, and TF mode.
  2. In USB/TF mode: Long press this button to repeat files. When the display shows ONE, the song will be repeated once. If the display shows ALL, all songs will be repeated.

  • Please read the manual carefully and keep it for future reference. Congratulations on the purchase of your new speaker.

CAUTION:

  • The unit shall be connected to a power supply only of the type described.
  • The applicance may not be exposed to extreme temperatures (<+5°C/> +35°C) in operation.
  • Please place the equipment on a level and stable platform. Never place the appliance on an unstable or mov-able surface. Persons could be injured or the appliance damaged.
  • No naked flame sources such as lighted candles should be placed on the apparatus.
  • For indoor use only

PRIOR TO FIRST USE:

  • Insert the small connector of the adaptor into the charging port (1) on the top of the speaker, insert the large connector into a wall outlet.
  • The display (20) shows the battery icon increasing while charging until the battery is fully charged. If the bat-tery voltage is low, a tone will be heard, indicating that the battery needs to be charged.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR APPLIANCES CONTAINING LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES

  1. PRIOR to using the unit for the first time, please charge fully the battery
  2. Charge the battery regularly after each use. Don’t wait until it is discharged!
  3. DON’T allow the battery to discharge completely, otherwise it will lose 20% of its capacity or even be totally damaged! If the voltage becomes too low, the internal circuits are not powered anymore and it will become impossible to recharge the battery!
  4. If you don’t use the unit for a longer period of time, it is recommended to charge it at 40% of its capacity and check/charge it once per month.

The life time of the battery depends on the observance of these recommendations.

  1. 9V input to charge the built-in battery

  15. Light switch: Press to cycle through the various light effects and switch the light effect off.

BLUETOOTH OPERATION

  • Keep the power button (21) pressed to turn the speaker on. “bLUE” appears on the display (20) and “BT” flashes slowly in the corner to indicate that the speaker is on. Keep the power button (21) pressed to turn the speaker off. The display will always show BT” when the speaker is connected to a Bluetooth device.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth function on your external Bluetooth device and select “VENUS-600” in the list of found devices. If a password is required, enter “0000” . After successful pairing, you will hear a tone.

GUITAR INPUT

  • Insert a standard connector of a Guitar into the Guitar input jack (2) on the top of the speaker. Control the gui-tar volume with knob (19).

MIC INPUT

  • WARNING: It is recommended that the speaker’s volume knob be turned all the way to the left to prevent any feedback or loud pops when connecting the microphone.
  • Insert a standard 6.35mm jack plug of the wired microphone (included) into the microphone input jack (3) and/or (4) on top of the speaker. Control the volume with knob (22). Control the mic echo with switch (18).

AUX/LINE OPERATION

  • To use the speaker with an AUX/LINE source, plug one connector of the 3.5mm audio cable into the 3.5mm auxiliary audio input jack (5) on the speaker. Plug the other connector into the headphone jack of your me-dia-playing device. Used the MODE button (10) to switch into LINE mode. The display will show “LINE”. Playback is controlled via the connected device.

USB OPERATION

  • Insert a USB device into USB port (7) to play the music stored on the drive. The play will start automatically.

MICRO-SD OPERATION

  • Insert a microSD card into the TF port (6) to play music stored on the drive. The play will start automatically.

MODE BUTTON (10)

  • Press this button to toggle between modes: BT, AUX, USB, TF

MIC PRI (8)

  • Short press this button to activate the microphone priority function in BT, USB, TF mode. The display will show “o-ON”. Press again to cancel this function. The display will show “o-OF”. When this function is activated, the volume of the music will decrease when you speak into the microphone and resume when your stop speaking.

REC (9)

  • This function is only available in USB/TF mode. You can only record the sound of the microphone.
  • If the connected USB/microSD device does not contain any recorded file, short press this button to play the mu-sic on the USB/microSD. Long press the button to record the sound of the microphone. “rEC” will be displayed. Short press to stop recording.
  • Press again to play the recorded file.
  • If the connected USB/microSD device contains a recorded file, short press this button to play the recorded file and then the other music on the device. Keep the button pressed to record the sound of the microphone.

NEXT TRACK (13)

  • Short press the button (13) to move forward in steps through the playlist in BT, USB and TF mode. Keep the button pressed to increase the volume.

PREVIOUS TRACK (11)

  • Short press this button (11) to move back through the playlist in BT, USB and TF mode. Long press this button to reduce the volume.

PLAY/PAUSE / REPE / TWS (12)

  • Short press this button to play/pause (12) the music in BT, AUX, USB, TF mode.
  • In USB/TF mode: Long press this button to repeat files. When the display shows “ONE”, the song will be repeat-ed once. If the display shows “ALL”, all songs will be repeated.

TWS FUNCTION (IN BLUETOOTH MODE ONLY)

  • Keep the PLAY/PAUSE/REPE/TWS button (12) pressed on one unit to enter into TWS mode. “BT” appears in the lower left corner of the display on one unit. On the other unit “BT” will flash in the lower left corner.
  • To pair the speakers with a Bluetooth source, you’ll find only one pairing name “VENUS-600”. Select it to con-nect. Press this button of one unit to cancel the TWS function.
  • Please note: If you add a second VENUS-600 speaker for the first time, please delete the speaker first from your Bluetooth devices, make the TWS pairing and then search for VENUS-600 on your smartphone.

LED SWITCH (15)

  • Short press to turn on the light and cycle through the various light modes. Keep the button pressed to turn off the light.

TREBLE CONTROL (16)

  • Slide the control up- or downwards to adjust the treble of the speaker.

BASS CONTROL (17)

  • Slide the control up- or downwards to adjust the bass of the speaker.
