Product Usage Instructions

  1. Connecting the PH200:
    • Ground (1): Connect the ground wire from your turntable to this terminal.
    • Turntable Signal Input (2): Connect the audio output from your turntable to this terminal.
    • Settings Blocks (3): These blocks are used for configuring the PH200. Refer to the “CONFIGURATIONS” section for more details.
    • Module Signal Output (4): Connect the signal output from the PH200 to your amplifier or audio system.
    • Trigger Input 12 V(1) (5): This input allows you to control the power ON/OFF of the PH200 using a compatible Trigger output from another device. Ensure that the On/Off button on the PH200 is in the Off position (0) for the Trigger function to work properly.
    • General Power Plug (6): Connect the power plug to an AC power source.
    • ON/OFF Switch (7): Use this switch to turn the PH200 ON or OFF.
  2. Configurations:
    • The PH200 allows different configurable configurations.
    • To configure the PH200, use the 2 4-point switch blocks located at the rear of the module.
    • There is one switch block for the left channel and another for the right channel.
    • Make sure that both switch blocks are in the same position.
    • Caution: Adjustments must be made when the PH200 and the amplifier are turned off.
  3. Choice of Input Capacitor:
    • This setting affects both the MM and MC cells of the PH200 and allows you to adapt the musicality of the device to your system.
    • To adjust the input capacitor, use the switch blocks on the rear of the module.
    • Refer to the screen-printed diagrams on the rear side for guidance.
    • Caution: Adjustments must be made when the PH200 and the amplifier are turned off.
  4. Cleaning:
    • Before cleaning, switch off the amplifier and unplug the PH200 from the power source.
    • Use a soft and dry rag to clean the appliance.
    • Do not use acetone, white-spirit, ammoniac, or any product containing abrasive agents.
    • Do not attempt to clean inside the appliance.

Safety Instruction

CAUTIONS

  • Do not make any connections when your device is powered on.
  • Put your device in a dry and well ventilated place, far from a source of heat
  • Avoid putting something on your amplifier.
  • Do not make any plug-in when the converter is on.
  • Avoid any short-cut.
  • Strictly respect polarity & , as well as the left and right connections.

ADVISES

  • Your device will offer you optimal listening quality approximately half an hour after it is powered on, until the stages reach their ideal operating temperature.
  • At night or when you leave your home it is best to use the main switch to turn off the device.
  • We advise you to choose good quality connection cords (to other devices). Do not hesitate to seek advice from your specialist retailer.

  7. ON/OFF switch.
    Trigger input:
    This input allows you to control the power ON/OFF of your PH200 simultaneously with any device equipped with a compatible Trigger output. In order for the system to work, the On/Off button on your PH200 must remain in the Off position (0). If the switch is in the On (I) position, it will work but not the Trigger function.
    The Trigger connection must be made with a Ø 3,5 mm Male/Male stereo jack cable.

CONFIGURATIONS

The PH200 phono module allows you different configurable configurations. They can be carried out directly at the rear of the module via the 2 4-point switch blocks, one for the left channel and the other for the right channel (you can also refer to the screen-printed diagrams on the rear side). Make sure that the 2 switch blocks are in the same position.

  1. MM – MC setting: Depending on the cartridge of your phono turntable, you can select the MM or MC input.
    Caution: This adjustment must be made when the PH200 and the amplifier are turned off.

    • For an MM cell, set 3 and 4 to OFF.
    • For a high level MC cell (MCH), place 3 to ON, and 4 to OFF.
    • For a MC Low Level (MCL) cell, set 3 and 4 to ON.

  2. Choice of input capacitor: This setting concerns both the MM and MC cells. It allows you to adapt the musicality of your PH200 to your system.

Caution:
This adjustment must be made when the PH200 and the amplifier are turned off.

  • For no input capacitor set 1 and 2 to OFF (recommended by default).
  • To select a 100 pF capacitor set 1 to ON, and 2 to OFF.
  • To select a 220 pF capacitor place 1 to OFF, and 2 to ON.
  • To select a 320 pF capacitor set 1 to ON, and 2 to ON.

E.C. marking certified the conformity with low tension directive 73/23/CEE, directive CEM 89/336/CEE and national transpositions.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

The guarantee is two years period from date of purchase. We recommend you to ask your dealer to fill the guarantee and to conserve it. The guarantee is only available for appliance which have been use correctly.

CLEANING

Before any cleaning, switch off your amplifier (6). Use a soft and dry rag to clean up the appliance. Never use acetone, white-spirit, ammoniac, or any kind of product containing abrasive agent. Never try to clean up inside the appliance.
