FEATURES

  • MICA is the group name for plate-silicate minerals. One of their most notable features is their extremely perfect split and shiny surface.
  • As they are electrically insulating and heat-resistant, they can be used as a support for heating filaments in heating appliances.
  • MICA minerals have a high thermal inertia and a high ratio of infrared emission.
  • The appliance thus provides a pleasant radiant heat.
  • MICA convector heater for indoor air heating
  • heats up quickly
  • high radiant heat ratio
  • 2 heating levels: 1000 W / 2000 W
  • with digital
  • thermostat 18–30°C
  • 12-hour off timer (0.5-hour units)
  • controlled by electronic push buttons and remote control
  • quiet operation
  • switches
  • off in case of overheating and overturning
  • easy to roll on wheels
  • with cable holder

OPERATION

  • After commissioning the appliance as described in the COMMISSIONING section, switch it on by turning the main switch (7) to the “I” position. The unit will beep, and the display will show the “under current” indicator light (16).
  • Switch on the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF button on the remote control or the control panel. The display shows the room temperature at °C and the appliance operates on a low heating level.
  • Use the Low and High buttons on the remote control or the Heating button on the control panel to change the heating levels. The low heating level (1000W) is confirmed by symbol 19, and the high level (2000 W) by symbol 20.
  • Each touch of the power-off Timer button on the remote control or control panel increases the remaining operating time by 0.5 hours (00.0 – 12.0 hours).
  • The active shutdown timer is confirmed by the symbol 14 on the control panel and the remaining operating time display (18).

The Temp button allows you to set the desired room temperature:

  • for low heating level (1000 W) 18–24°C, in +1°C increments
  • for high heating level (2000 W) 25–30°C, in +1°C increments
  • For both levels, if the temperature is set to 00, the thermostat mode is switched off and the appliance will operate continuously at the current heating level.
  • If the desired temperature is at least 2°C higher than the current room temperature, the current heating level is activated. As soon as the room temperature exceeds the thermostat setting by 1°C, the heating is switched off.
  • To switch off the device, press the ON/OFF button or turn the main switch to position 0.
  • Overheating protection serves to switch off the device in the event of overheating, e.g. if the appliance is covered. Disconnect the device by pulling out the mains plug. Let the device cool down (min. 30 minutes). Check if the air inlet and outlet are unblocked; clean them if necessary. Turn on the device again. If the overheat protection keeps activating, disconnect the device by pulling out the mains plug and contact an authorized service shop.
  • The appliance switches off automatically if it is overturned. In this case, disconnect the appliance by pulling out its mains plug, place it upright on its stand and then put it back into operation as described in the COMMISSIONING section.
  • The product will forget all settings after switching off.
