Product Information

The Aroma Light is an electric diffuser designed to infuse your air with the vitality and well-being of nature. By diffusing essential oils into the air, it supports well-being through the sense of smell and creates a supportive atmosphere. The diffuser features a warm incandescent light with 3 brightness settings and has a water bowl capacity of 1.2 fl oz | 35 ml. The product is made with a metal outer cover, glass water bowl, and metal water bowl holder.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Remove the water dish from the diffuser and fill it 3/4 full with fresh tap water. Do not fill the water dish while overtop of the incandescent bulb.
2. Add 10-15 drops (depending on your preference) of your favorite Saje diffuser blend to the water dish.
3. With the unit unplugged, carefully lower the water bowl into the holder.
4. Plug the unit into an electrical outlet and turn the switch on. You can turn on the unit by tapping once anywhere on the metal base. Tap twice for a brighter light and three times for maximum brightness. Tap a fourth time to turn the unit off.
5. As the water warms, the essential oils will fill the air.

Replacing the Incandescent Bulb

1. Turn the unit off, unplug it, and let it cool for at least 10 minutes.
2. Carefully pull up the water bowl holder, avoiding contact with the bulb to reveal the bulb.
3. Use a soft cloth to grasp the bulb and twist anticlockwise until the bulb comes loose from the base. Avoid handling the new bulb with bare hands as this will reduce the life of the bulb.
4. Insert the new bulb by twisting clockwise. Ensure that the bulb is sitting securely in the base.

Cautions:

• To prevent the diffuser from overheating, do not exceed a run time of more than 5 hours.
• Place the diffuser on a heat-resistant and stable surface. Avoid placing it where it may easily be knocked over by children or pets.
• Avoid placing the diffuser beside flammable materials as the exterior of the unit emits heat during use.
• Do not move the unit while in use or until it has cooled down. The water will get hot and could cause injury/burns if spilled on the skin.
• Avoid contact with the exterior of the unit during use as the metal housing can become hot.
• Do not lower the water bowl into the unit when it is plugged in. Make sure the water bowl is secure before plugging in and turning on the unit.
• Never leave the diffuser unattended while turned on, especially in children’s rooms. Ensure to keep the device out of reach of children.

OPERAT ING I NSTRUCTIONS

1. Remove the water dish from diffuser and fill 3/4 full with fresh tap water. Do not fill the water dish while overtop of the incandescent bulb.

5. As the water warms, the essential oils will fill the air.

CARE AND MAI NTENANCE

• Turn unit off and allow to cool down completely before cleaning.
• Do not allow the interior of the unit’s base to get wet; the outside may be wiped with a soft damp cloth.
• Essential oil residue in the water bowl may be cleaned using rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth or paper towel.

REP LACING THE I NCANDESCENT B ULB

1. Turn unit off, unplug and let it cool for at least 10 minutes.

• Do not look directly at bulb when lit and refrain from touching bulb until unit is unplugged and has cooled.
• Do not touch the incandsecent light bulb with bare hands. The oils from the skin may cause the light bulb to heat unevenly and result in the bulb shattering.
• Use only with E12 T20 15W incandsecent bulb.
• Do not use if any component is broken.
• Do not remove the liner from the diffuser.
• Turn switch off and unplug when not in use.
• For indoor use only.

• what if my unit does not turn on?

  • The power cord may not be properly plugged in; ensure that the power cord is properly plugged into the electrical source.
  • The bulb may need replacing. Please see “Replacing the Incandescent Bulb” instructions.

• how does this diffuser work compared to my ultrasonic diffuser?
  This unique diffuser is designed to gently heat your favorite oils by lightbulb, creating a subtle aroma in the air and a soft decorative glow. As the unit is not ultrasonic, air purification and humidification are not the primary purposes of this diffuser, though you will still experience the same therapeutic properties of your essential oils.

• are there any blends or oils to avoid using?
  As this unit diffuses with water and gentle heat, all Saje essential oils (including those found in roll-on blends) can be used.
