Product Information
The product allows users to configure audio and video on separate VLANs using the Engage controller. It provides the ability to create VLANs with specific profiles for video and audio. The user can select ports on switches to assign to each VLAN, and additional switches can be added to expand the configuration. The product also allows for the customization of port configurations within each profile.
Product Usage Instructions
- Open the Engage controller and navigate to Site Settings.
- Click on “Create New Profile”.
- Select the desired profile from the drop-down menu (Video or Audio Dante).
- Click “Next”.
- Name the VLAN (e.g., Video or Audio) and assign it an ID (10for Video, 20 for Audio).
- Select the color for the profile.
- Click “Next”.
- On the first switch, select the ports to assign to the VLAN (e.g., ports 4 and 5).
- If there are additional switches, repeat step 8 for each switch.
- Click “Apply”.
- Click “Confirm”.
- Repeat steps 2-11 to create a separate VLAN for the other profile (Audio).
- Once the configuration is complete, the video will be on VLAN 10 and the audio on VLAN 20.
- To modify port configurations, edit the respective profile.
