- Battery Level Indicator: The battery icon on the display indicates the battery level
- Battery Replacement: Depress the battery door clip and pull the battery out
- Paper Compartment: Press the Paper door release button to open the paper compartment door. Insert the roll into the paper holder, lining up the media roll core with the core holder. Pull the small leader of the paper out and close the paper door. It should click when properly closed.
- Battery Disposal: Please dispose of the batteries separately and free of cost at your sales agency or the designated local collecting points. Refer to the User Guide for battery disassembly and removal instructions.

- USB Access to Printer Web Pages: Some country-specific Windows Operating Systems may require downloading the RNDIS driver from www.printek.com support, downloads, drivers, and software, to use the IP-over-USB mode. Please note that when the printer is connected via USB and in IP over USB mode, accessing the Internet temporarily may not be possible.
- Dual Radio FP641: Dual Radio printers come with Wi-Fi and BT modules set to Discover ON. To turn off a radio module, go to BT Config or Wireless Config.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before starting, visit www.printek.com Support, Downloads, Drivers, and Software to download the FP641 printer driver.
- Battery Replacement:
- Depress the battery door clip.
- Pull the battery out.
- Paper Compartment:
- Press the Paper door release button to open the paper compartment door.
- Insert the roll into the paper holder, aligning the media roll core with the core holder.
- Pull the small leader of the paper out.
- Close the paper door. It should click when properly closed.
- Battery Disposal:
- Dispose of the batteries separately and free of cost at your sales agency or the designated local collecting points.
- Refer to the User Guide for battery disassembly and removal instructions.

- To power up, press and hold for approximately 3 seconds.
- To power down, press 2 times rapidly.
- Paper feed button:
- To advance the paper, press 1 time.
- To perform a self-test print, press 2 times.
- Menu button:
- To enter the menu, press 2 times.
- To exit the menu, press 2 times.
- To scroll down in the menu, press the Paper Feed button.
- To select a category, press 1 time.
- To save a setting, press the Power button.
- To go back, press 1 time.
- To return to the main menu, press 1 time.

Printer features
Media
Press the Paper door release button to open the paper compartment door. Insert roll into paper holder lining up media roll core with core holder. Pull a small leader of paper out and close the paper door. “Clicks” when properly closed.
Battery
The battery icon on the display will indicate the battery level.
Disposal
Please dispose the batteries separately and free of cost at your sales agency or the designated local collecting points. Therefore please consider the national recycling standards! Disassembly and removal of the batteries are described in the User Guide

Dual radio FP641
Dual Radio printers arrive with Wi-Fi and BT modules set to Discover “ON”. If desired, go to “BT Config” or “Wireless Config” to set a radio to “OFF”
USB Access to Printer Web Pages
- Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds to power the printer.
- Connect a USB cable between the printer and a PC.

- To access the FP641 web page, press the Power button twice rapidly. This will put the printer into Configuration mode.
- When the printer is in Configuration mode the Power LED will flash.
- Open the browser on your PC type 169.254.200.1 into the address bar of the browser and hit Enter – A login box should appear:
- Type “0000” and hit Enter- you should now be at the home page for FP641 Configuration.
- To return the printer to normal operating mode, double-click the POWER button. The Power LED will be returned to a solid light
- Some country-specific Windows Operating Systems have not activated or installed the RNDIS driver to use the IP-over-USB mode. Therefore, please refer to our web site www.printek.com support, downloads, drivers and software, to download the RNDIS driver.
- Once the printer is connected via USB and in IP over USB mode it is temporarily not possible to access the Internet.
