Introduction

The Steinberg BASIC SBS-TW-3000 / 100G table top scale can accurately and rapidly measure weights up to 3kg. Additionally, it has a counting feature. These helpful characteristics make the scale suitable for a range of uses, including weighing articles, ingredients, jewellery, or currency. Despite having a weighing surface that is substantial (13 x 9.8 cm), thanks to its overall compact size, it can be used almost anyplace. The stainless steel used in the weighing surface gives it a higher resilience and makes it astonishingly simple to clean.

The incorporated overload function will display a notification on the built-in LCD display if the maximum weight capacity is exceeded. The scale can translate measurements between six different weight units by pressing the UNIT key. This covers units such as gram, kilogram, granules, ounces, carats, and teraliters (tl). The net weight of your goods can be determined using the TARE function. With the practical PCS function, counting individual items in samples of 25, 50, 75, or 100 pieces is simple.

Your measured values may be read quickly and precisely from all angles and in poor light thanks to the backlit LCD display. Prior to shipping, the SBS- TW-3000 / 100G table top scale is completely calibrated so that you can use it right away.

Before you use the scale, please read this manual carefully, and keep it stored properly for future use.

SAFETY GUIDE

For good performance and precise measurement, be careful during daily operation and maintenance. Regard the following instructions:

  • Do NOT overload the scale. This will damage the load cell and void the warranty.

  • When the scale runs out of power, replace the batteries.
  • Do NOT use the scale in thunder or rain.
  • Do NOT attempt to repair the scale yourself. Contact your local representative.
  • Avoid extreme temperatures. Do not place the unit in direct sunlight or near the air conditioning.
  • Make sure the scale is placed on a stable table and is not subject to vibrations.
  • Do not use the scale close to large electrical appliances such as welding machines or large motors. Do not leave batteries in the device if you do not use it for a long time.
  • Avoid vibrations. Do not place your scale near vibrating heavy machinery.
  • Avoid places where moisture can lead to condensation. Avoid direct contact with water.
  • Do not place the unit close to windows, doors or fans that may cause unstable results due to air currents.
  • Keep your machine clean. Do not store products on the scale when it is not used.
