Kovacs P1642-895-L Tall LED Multi Light Pendant
Product Information
The product is the P1642-895-L LED Pendant, designed for installation in indoor spaces. It comes with a mounting plate, canopy, support cable, LED module, and necessary screws and wire connectors. The fixture is dimmable and compatible with ELV and LED wall dimmer switches.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before starting the installation, make sure to read and save the provided instructions.
- Ensure the power is shut off at the fuse box or circuit breaker box before proceeding.
- If there is an existing fixture, remove it along with its mounting hardware if necessary.
- Carefully unpack the new fixture from the carton and verify that all parts are included.
- Position the mounting plate onto the ceiling and mark the desired location for installation.
- Securely attach the mounting plate to the ceiling using appropriate screws and anchors.
- Attach the rod to the swivel of the canopy.
- Connect the red output wire (marked output +) from the driver to the red LED wire (marked LED +) from the LED module using wire nuts.
- Connect the black output wire (marked output -) from the driver to the black LED wire (marked LED -) from the LED module using wire nuts.
- Use the provided support cable to hang the fixture while wiring. Attach the hook on the end of the support cable to a slot on the mounting plate.
- Carefully allow the support cable to bear the weight of the fixture while wiring.
- Follow Fig.2 for connecting the electrical wires. Ensure all wire connectors are securely fastened.
- If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate using the provided green screw.
- Align the canopy onto the mounting plate and secure it with screws.
- The installation is now complete. Restore power to the junction box and test the fixture.
- Note: It is recommended to have a qualified electrician install the fixture to ensure proper wiring and installation.

ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE
(Fig.1)
- Shut off pow er at the fuse box or circuit breaker box. If necessary, remove the existing fixture and its mounting hardware.
- Carefully rem ove the new fixture from the carton and check that all parts are included as shown in the illustration.
- Position mounting plate (B) onto the ceiling and mark the location of the four drywall anchors (A). Pre-drill the holes for drywall anchors (A) and insert drywall anchors (A) into the ceiling.
- Attach moun ting plate (B) to the junction box (not included) with mounting scr ews (E) (size:8-32*1/2”L). The side of mounting plate (B) marked “GND” must face out.
- Place wood screws (C) through mounting plate (B) and into drywall anchors (A)
- Fixture includes three 12″ and one 6″ rods. Determine desired hanging height and th read rods (H1:W30-1-783 and H2:W30-H-783) to all thread on top of th e fixture. Feed fixture wire carefully through each rod. If installing with one 6″ rod only, the all thread must be removed.
- Secure rod t o swivel of canopy (G).
- Use wire nut s to connect red output wire (marked output +) from driver to red LED wire (marked LED +) from led module. Connect black output wire (marked output -) from driver to black LED wire (marked LED -) from led module.
- The support cable is provided to support the weight of the fixture while wiring. Align the fixture to mounting plate (B) and attach hook (J) on the end of supp ort cable（K）into a slot located on mounting plate (B). Carefully allo w the support cable to support the weight of the fixture while wiring.
CONNECTING T HE WIRES
(Fig.2)
- Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig.2, making sure that all wire connectors a re secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to mounting plate (B) using the green screw (D) pr ovided.
COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION
- Align canopy (G) onto mounting plate (B) and secure with screws (F). Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
IMPORTANT : Fixture should be installed by a qualified electrician to
ensure proper w iring and installation.
