SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Carefully read the entire contents of this manual before first use.

Keep all warnings and safety instructions for future reference.

  1. The equipment is intended for domestic use only.
  2. This equipment may be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by persons with reduced physical and mental capabilities and persons with inexperience and lack of familiarity with the equipment if supervision or instruction is provided on how to use the equipment in a safe manner so that the associated risks are understood. Children should not play with the equipment. Unsupervised children should not carry out cleaning or maintenance of the equipment.
  3. Do not exceed the maximum allowable weight (10kg)
  4. this may damage the scale or cause it to calibrate.
  5. Handle the scale with care. Do not drop the scale.
  6. Use a damp, soft cloth without chemicals to clean, then wipe dry.
  7. Do not immerse the equipment in water.
  8. Repairs to the equipment may only be carried out by an authorized service center. Any upgrades or the use of other other than the original spare parts or components of the device is prohibited and jeopardizes the safety of use.
  9. Store the scale in a shaded and dry place.
  10. Do not press on the scale with other objects during storage.
  11. The accuracy of the scale indication depends on the way it is used.
  12. Eldom sp. z o.o. shall not be held liable for any damage resulting from improper use of the device.

CAUTION: The plastic bag can be a hazard – to avoid suffocation with the bag, keep it away from babies and small children

WARNING: THE SCALE IS RATED IP66. The scale can be washed under running water, but MUST NOT immerse it in water

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • The scale can be washed under running water, but must not be immersed in water.
  • After washing the device, the scale (especially the breathable membrane) should be wiped with a cloth as soon as possible, and then remove the battery cover to see if there is water in the battery compartment. If there is it should be wiped off immediately.

DO NOT ALLOW THE BATTERY TO GET WET.

  • Clean all plastic parts immediately after contact with fats, spices, vinegar, and strongly flavored/colored food.
  • Avoid contact of the scale with acids, or citrus juice.
  • Do not clean the device with strong chemicals.
  • Store away from high temperatures.

OPERATING INSTRUCTION

  • TECHNICAL DATA

    • accuracy of graduation: 1g
    • accuracy of measurement: 5g
    • power supply: 3xAAA battery (not included)
  • USE

    • Before use, check that the unit is complete and not damaged.
    • Remove all transport protection.
    • Insert the batteries.
  • BATERIES
    Used batteries should be disposed of in special containers.

    • Battery replacement
    • Open the battery cover located on the bottom of the unit.
    • Gently lift up and remove the batteries.
    • Insert new batteries. Pay attention to the polarity.
    • Close the cover.
  • To ensure waterproofness, press down after attaching the battery cover to make sure the battery cover is completely closed.

  • INTENDED USE
    The WK350 electronic kitchen scale is designed to measure the weight of food products and the volume of water and milk.

OPERATION

Taking measurements

  • Please put the scale on a hard and flat surface.
  • Place the bowl (if used) on the scale before turning on the unit.
  • Press and release the [TARE] button to turn on the unit.
  • Wait until the LCD shows all the information.
  • Load the weighing object on to start weighing, LCD will show the weight reading.
  • If the weighing object is water or milk, press the [UNIT] button to choose the volume and view the volume of the weighing object.

Changing the weighing units

  • To change the units of measurement from g/ml to pounds/units, press the [UNIT] button after turning on the scale.

Tare

  • When the [TARE] button is pressed, the display shows “ ” or “0g”. “ ” means that the scale is unstable, wait for a while. When the display shows “0g” and the “T” symbol in the upper left corner, it means that the function is active. The maximum weight is reduced by the total weight of the weighed
  • products. When [TARE] is touched again, the display will show the total weight of the products.
  • Another touch of [TARE] will reset the display to zero.

Automatic switch-off
Auto shut-off occurs if the display shows ‘0’ or shows the same weight reading for 2 minutes

  • Weight overload message
    • The maximum permissible weight (10 kg) must not be exceeded.
    • This can cause damage to the device.
  • Low battery indicator
    • Indicates that the batteries need to be replaced
