GARDENERS 38-626 Self Watering Rolling Planter
Product Information
The Self-Watering Rolling Planter is a portable planter that ensures your plants stay hydrated. It comes with the following parts:
- 1 Self-Watering Rolling Planter
- 1 Fill Tube (located under the grid)
- 1 Water Level Indicator
- 4 Wheel Casters
Product Usage Instructions
- Before planting, lift the Soil Grid from inside the planter. Remove any stored planter parts and snap the grid back into place.
- If using the planter outdoors, remove the drainage plugs. From inside the planter, remove the soil grid and use a hammer to tap the four elevated plugs on the water reservoir floor until they pop out. Replace the grid.
- Push the four Casters firmly into each corner hole on the bottom of the planter until they snap into place.
- Insert the Water Level Indicator into the small pre-molded circle on the planter floor. The float inside the tube will indicate when it’s time to refill the water reservoir.
- Position the Water Fill Tube over the Water Level Indicator and into the larger pre-molded circle. Use this tube to fill the reservoir with water. To reduce evaporation, snap on the Fill Tube Cover (found attached to the side of the planter).
- Place premoistened soil on top of the grid, plant your flowers or vegetables, and water the soil.
- Pour water into the Water Fill Tube until the Water Level Indicator shows that the Water Reservoir is full. The reservoir ensures your plants receive an optimal amount of water for healthy growth.
- For most plants, check the water level in the reservoir weekly. In very hot weather or if the planter contains a large plant, you may need to check the water level more frequently.
