Install Lock
Use Template to Check Door Holes
Note: If door holes do not match template, see DOOR PREP section.
Customer Service
Install Latch
For 7/s” (22 mm) hole, remove sleeve
If Needed, Adjust Rose
Chassis is factory set for 1¾” (44 mm) door
For 13/a” (35 mm) thick door
- Rotate rose until it stops
- Nine 360° rotations
For 1¾” (44 mm) thick door
- Rotate rose until it stops
- Nine 360° rotations
Install Outside Chassis Assembly
If Needed, Install Cylinder
Standard Core
- Rotate key while inserting
Install Inside Mounting Plate
Install Inside Rose
Install Inside Knob
Install Strike
Check SFIC Knob Orientation
- Rotate knob to reveal catch inside hole
Door Preparation
Determine Bevel
Mark Centerline and Drill Points
Drill Holes
NOTE: Drill from both sides to avoid splintering wood
