1| Before commencing any work check that airline connections are secure. But don’t stand directly in front when checking them stand to one side.|
2| Check your airline for any leaking of air from

connections, hoses and jubilee clips. Remove and try to tighten if you can, then recheck.

3| Any defects must be reported immediately to your Supervisor/Manager all repairs must be carried out before using the airline.|
4| Operators using any sort of airline, gun/tool must wear goggles always. You may also need a mask and or ear plugs.|
5| You must never aim the air tool towards any part of your

body or anyone else.

6| Ensure nobody is in the immediate area where you are working when using air lines or tools.|
7| You must only use airlines for their intended use. Do not

use airlines for cleaning down clothes. Please use coverall to keep your clothing clean.

8| When using an airline for cleaning use short bursts of air rather than prolonged blast.|
9| Try and use a hoover rather than the airline, where possible.|
10| Do not use any machine or equipment unless trained and authorised by Manager.|

I have received the above training and fully understand every point that was explained to me. I confirm that I will wear the required PPE equipment when using the above machinery and take all steps to ensure my own safety. I will ask for further training if I need to and will immediately inform the Supervisor or Manager if there are any issues with the machinery.
