Product Information
The Cutter Plotter is a machine used for cutting various materials. It is equipped with tool heads, pens, and blade heads for different cutting purposes. The machine features rail table bearings, drive belt bearings, gantries, and a motor for smooth and precise operation. Regular maintenance is required to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before performing any maintenance, ensure that the machine is switched off. The isolator switch must be in the off position and secured with a padlock.
- Ensure that the area around the cutter is clean and free from any potential hazards such as scrap material.
- Use the lubricating gun provided by Engineering. Fit the nozzle onto the end of the gun.
- Lubricate the rail table bearings, taking care to avoid excess lubricant. Clean up any spillages to prevent slip hazards.
- Inspect the tool heads, pens, and blade heads for any problems such as loose connections or dirt. Clean or replace them if necessary. If any greasing, cleaning, or work is required after visual inspection, remove any blades to avoid cuts.
- Check the drive belt bearings and lubricate them if needed.
- Inspect the gantries for any debris or visible problems that may obstruct the tracks from moving.
- Lubricate the nipple on the motor as shown.
- Lubricate the nipples on the fan belt casing as shown.
- Visually check the belts for any problems. Do not insert fingers or any equipment into the holes for safety.

Operating and Safety Instructions for Cutter Plotter Maintenance Check
Before doing any maintenance please make sure the machine is switched off, the
isolator switch must be in the off position with padlock locked in place
Please make sure the area around the cutter is clean and tidy of any potential
hazards i.e. scrap material
Instructions

Use the lubricating gun from Engineering, fit the nozzle on to the end as shown.

Lubricate the rail table bearings as shown below… Please avoid excess lubricant.
Please clean up any spillages to avoid slip hazards. -
Lubricate them by placing the nozzle as shown below

Check the tool heads, pens and blade heads for any problems i.e. loose connections, dirt, etc, clean or replace if needed.
If any greasing, cleaning, or work needs doing after visually checking then please remove any blades to avoid cuts -
Check drive belt bearings and lubricate if needed

Check gantries for any debris or visible problems that will stop the tracks from moving.

Lubricate nipple on the motor as shown below.

Lubricate nipples as shown of fan belt casing.

Visually check belts for any problems.
DO NOT put your fingers or any equipment into the holes for safety

I confirm that I will wear the required PPE equipment when using the above machinery and take all steps to ensure my own safety. I will ask for further training if I need to and will immediately inform the Supervisor or Manager if there are any issues with the machinery.
