GROWATT APX 5.0-30.0P-S2 Battery System
Product Information
- The product is the APX 5.0~30.0P-S2, manufactured by Shenzhen Growatt New Energy Co., Ltd. It consists of two main components: the APX 98034-P2 (Power Module) and the APX 5.0P-B1 (Battery Module).
- The system cable, parallel cable, trim cover, left trim cover, right trim cover, warranty card, anti-tipping plate, M6 explosive screws, M4x9 stainless steel screws, M6x12 stainless steel screws, protective rubber ring, operation manual, quick installation manual, install-location card, wall bracket, cascading cable, and floor installation compound mode are additional accessories included with the product.
- The battery capacity options available are 5kWh, 10kWh, 15kWh, 20kWh, 25kWh, 30kWh, 40kWh, 50kWh, and 60kWh.
Product Usage Instructions
Floor Installation with Base
To install the product on the floor with a base, follow these steps:
- Ensure the installation location meets the requirements.
- Install the connecting pieces on both sides and tighten the two screws.
- Install the anti-tipping plate on both sides and tighten the two screws.
- Keep the level of the Battery Module.
- Make a mark on the wall to punch, then fix the module using M6 explosive screws.
Wall-Mounted Installation
To install the product on a wall, follow these steps:
Installation Process
- Loosen two screws and move up the handle on both sides.
- Tighten the two screws and fix the battery and power modules.
Installation Location Requirements
For wall-mounted installation, ensure the installation location meets the following requirements:
- The number of wall-mount installations should not exceed five.
- Make sure that the weight capacity of the wall exceeds 280kg.
Installation Procedure
- Install the connecting pieces on both sides and tighten the two screws.
- Secure the module on both sides of the wall.
Note: The mounting hole dimensions vary based on the battery capacity (5kWh, 10kWh, 15kWh, 20kWh). Please refer to the mounting hole dimensions provided in the manual for accurate installation.

Note: Build sun and rain shade for modules to avoid direct exposure to sunlight and rain.
Floor installation with base
Installation Location Requirements
Note: For floor installation with base, the maximum stack number of the
battery is six.
But if the battery number is greater than four, we recommend stacking them in
two lines.

- Loosen two screws, and move up the handle on both sides.
- Tighten the two screws, fix the battery and the power modules.
- Install the connecting pieces on both sides and tighten the two screws.
- secure the module on both sides of the wall.
Wall-Mounted Installation Process
Installation Location Requirements
Note: The number of wall-mount installations should not exceed five.
Please make sure that the weight capacity of wall should exceed 280kg.
Installation Procedure
- Keep the level of the Battery Module.
- make a mark on the wall to mount holes fixing the module.
- mounting eight holes.
- fix the bracket on the wall.
- fix the battery module on the bracket.
- Install the anti-tipping plate on both sides and tighten the two screws.
- Install-location card ensures alignment marks on the wall.
- Fix the M6 explosive screw in the wall.
- Install the connecting pieces on both sides and tighten the two screws.
- Loosen two screws, and move up the handle on both sides.
- Tighten the two screws, fix the two battery modules.
- secure the module on both sides of the wall.
- Loosen two screws, and move up the handle on both sides.
- Tighten the two screws, fix the battery and the power modules.
- Install the connecting pieces on both sides and tighten the two screws.
- secure the module on both sides to the wall

Battery Capacity Description
The battery supports power and capacity expansion. Two power control modules can be connected in parallel. One power control module supports a maximum of four battery expansion modules.

Note: It is not recommended to install a DC circuit breaker between the battery system and the PCS, If you want to install a DC circuit breaker with rated working voltage grearer than 1000V and rated working current greater than 63A, do not operate the DC circuit breaker with power on. otherwise the machine mav be damaged.
