Using Instructions
- Remove the battery cover’s screws.
- How to properly install the battery: You need to organize the battery line and put them on the front of the battery, PLEASE DO NOT put the battery line on top.
- Install the battery and confirm that the battery line is not pressed.
- Install the battery cover and the screws.
- Remove the tie lines.
- Press the power button of the receiver to determine whether there is an interference sound. If there is an interference sound, you need to change the place to test. Under normal conditions without interference, the noise is very small.
- Press the transmitter power-on button. Press the transmitter search signal button and confirm the signal light is on.
- Learn the operation method of precise wire locates:
- First, turn up the volume of the receiver and get close to the transmitter. After you can hear the normal wire trace sound, turn down the volume of the receiver, and make the wire trace sound emitted by the receiver smaller so that the signal range will be smaller. You can find the worn accurately. (In a noisy environment, you can wear headphones to listen to the changes in the sound)
- Under normal situations, the strongest signal is the position of the wire.
- Possible situations: When searching for a wire on the same plane, if there are strong signals at both ends of the plane it means that there is a signal blind spot between the two ends of the plane, and the wire appears in the blind spot.
- When testing underground wires, the signal will become weak. At this time, you need to make the ground stud and connect it with black clamps to enhance the signal. (Screw knives or metal slices can be used as a medium for ground studs.)
