Product Information
The wireless display receiver is a dongle that allows you to cast the small screen of your device to a big screen, such as a TV or projector. It can synchronize and push videos, music, photos, documents, and games from your device to the big screen. This product is suitable for home entertainment, business meetings, education, training, and more.
The dongle has two modes: Miracast and DLNA. It is compatible with iOS, Android (Android 4.2 model with 1GB RAM or higher), Windows (Windows 8.1 or higher), and MAC (MAC 10.8 or higher) devices.
Product Usage Instructions
Connecting Devices:
- Plug the dongle into the TV’s HDMI interface.
- Set the source on the TV to the corresponding HDMI input.
- Connect the dongle to a power source using a 5V/1A or 5V/2A external power adapter.
- The dongle UI interface will appear on the TV or projector with two modes: Miracast and DLNA.
Notice:
- If the dongle is not being used for a long time, unplug the USB power cable to save electricity.
- Place the dongle in an area with a good Wi-Fi signal to ensure a strong and low-latency wireless connection between the dongle, your device, and the Wi-Fi router/hotspot.
- Ensure that the Wi-Fi signal is strong enough between the Wi-Fi router, dongle, and your portable smartphone/laptop/Windows 8.1/Mac 10.8 laptop.
- This product may receive updates. You can choose to upgrade the product version on the console at 192.168.49.1 if desired.
iOS Devices Setting Quick Start Guide:
- Short press the mode button on the dongle and switch to DLNA mode.
- Airplay Mirroring Settings:
- Open the Wi-Fi settings on your iOS device and connect to the dongle’s SSID (default password: 12345678).
- Go back to the iOS device’s home screen, open Airplay Mirroring, and mirror your iOS device’s small screen to the big screen of the TV or projector. This allows you to enjoy local videos, music, pictures, files, etc., on the big screen.
- If you want to enjoy online videos, music, pictures, etc., connect your iOS device to an external Wi-Fi router:
- Connect your iOS device to the dongle’s SSID without enabling Airplay Mirroring.
- Scan the QR code on the dongle’s UI or open a browser and enter 192.168.49.1 to access the console.
- Click on the Wi-Fi icon, choose an available Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and connect.
- After connecting to the router, its name will appear on the TV screen. The dongle will automatically connect to the router when booted up. Your iOS device can then connect to either the dongle or the router for mirroring and browsing online content.
- Airplay Settings:
- If the dongle is connected to an external router, follow the instructions in step 3 for connecting your iOS device to the router.
- After connecting to the router, there are two methods to airplay online videos/music to the TV or projector:
* Method A: Your iOS device connects to the same router as the dongle. In this case, the iOS device and dongle are in the same Wi-Fi environment.

Connecting devices
- Plug the dongle into the TV’s HDMI interface, and set the source to the corresponding one

- If long time not use the dongle, pls unplug the USB power cable to save electricity.
- Pls put the dongle in a relatively good signal environment, then it can be ensured that the interaction among the dongle, the Android iOS devices, and the WIFI router/hotspots have good bandwidth and low latency wireless signal.
- pls, make sure that the wifi signal is strong enough between the wifi router, dongle, and portable smartphone/laptop/Windows 8.1/Mac10.8 laptop.
- This product version will be updated from time to time, according to your own need to choose whether to upgrade on the console(192.168.49.1)
iOS devices Setting Quick Start Guide
Short press the mode button of the dongle and switch to DLNA mode
Airplay Mirroring Settings
- Open the WIFI of the iOS devices, search, and connect to the dongle SSID
- ( PS : default password : 12345678).
- Back to the desktop, upper the home screen menu of iOS devices, Open Airplay Mirroring, and mirror your IOS device’s small screen to the big screen of the TV/Projector, in this way, you can enjoy local videos/music/pictures/files, etc with a big screen.
- Pls connect the external WIFI router if you want to enjoy online videos/music/pictures, etc, Pls set it as follows:
- IOS device connects to dongle SSID without airplay mirroring.
- Pls scan the QR code on the UI or open the browser and input 192.168.49.1 to enter into the console. Click the WIFI icon, choose the available WIFI, and input the password, then connect.
- After connecting the router, there will be the router’s name on the TV screen. Once you succeed in connecting the router, the next time, you boot up the dongle, it will automatically connect the router. Meanwhile, an IOS device could connect the dongle or the router (which the dongle connects) to do the mirroring and browse online ccontent
Airplay Settings
- Connect the dongle with external routers, pls take 3.3 for reference.
- After connecting the router, there are two methods to airplay the online videos /music to the TV/Projector.
- A: The IOS device connects the same router as the dongle connects, in this case, the IOS device and dongle are in the same WIFI environment. Notice: This method is convenient, as long as the IOS device connects to the router, you can airplay to browser online video/music. B: IOS device connects SSID.
- Open the music/video APP(Tencent, YouTube) with the (airplay function) in the IOS device, choose music or videos, and you can airplay them to the TV/Projector.
- After that, you could run the player in the background. And your phone could do other things, like calling, messaging texting, playing games, etc. These won’t influence the movies/music playing.
Android Device Setting Quick Start Guide
- Miracast mode setting
- Short press the dongle mode button to switch to the Miracast mode
- Open the Android device’s settings, then come to the screen share menu to Select the dongle SSID and connect as follows:
- Different on different brands of phones or tablets display with WIFI Display, WLAN Display, Wireless Display, Allshare Display, Allshare Cast, Wireless Display etc.
DLNA mode setting
- Short press the dongle mode button to switch to DLNA mode.
- Plus, connect the external WIFI router if you want to enjoy online. And check the connection method as 3.3.
Windows devises Quick Start Guide
- Pls, check with your laptop if support with the miracast or not. as method 6 In the following. If support, press the dongle mode button to switch to miracast mode.
- Run the Windows system (above 8.1) setting, click, and enter into the “computer changed Setting”.
- Click and come to the “computer and device”, click the “devices” to add the device.
- The system will automatically search dongle ssid abc123, press it, and then wait for the connection
- The miracast connection is successful, it can start to mirror the laptop screen to a TV/projector screen.
The method to check if your Windows laptop supports Miracast
- Pls press and buttons at the same time, there will be a dialog, input dxdiag, and click OK.
- Pls click and save the page of DirectX diagnostic tools, as follows:
- Pls save the information as DxDiag.txt, as follows:
- Pls use your notepad to open DxDiag.txt and find Miracast, you will find out whether your laptop supports Miracast, as follows:

- We will all the time keep upgrading new firmware。 If you need to update, follow the steps below.
- Pls connect your wireless display receiver to the internet as 3.3
- In the console(192.168.49.1)settings——upgrade
- The online upgrade process is automatic. After all is loaded it will restart automatically and it will be the latest version. the machine will restart automatically. Then the dongle is the latest version.
Note : Do not do anything during the online upgrade, do not power off, otherwise it will cause serious problems.
