  • Use the product only for the intended purpose.
  • Do not operate the product outside the power limits specified in the technicaldata.
  • Protect the product from dirt, moistureand overheating and use it in dry environments only.
  • Do not use the product in adamp environment and avoid splashing water.
  • Do not continue to operate the product if it is visibly damaged.
  • Do not bend or crush the cable.
  • Do not drop the product and do not exposeitto any major shocks.
  • Always pulldirectly on the plug when disconnectingthe cable, never on the cable itself.
  • As with allelectrical products, this device should be kept out of the reach of children.
  • Dispose of packaging materialimmediately in accordance with the locally applicable regulations.
  • Do not modify the product in any way.Doing so voids the warranty.
  • The product is intended for private, noncommercial use only.
  • The product is intended only for use inside buildings.
  • Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of heaters, other heat sources or in direct sunlight.

Risk of electric shock

  • Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged.
  • Do not use the product if the AC adapter,the adapter cable or the mains cable aredamaged.
  • Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself.Leave any and allservice work to qualified experts.

Warning

  • Only operate the product from asocket that has been approved for the device. Thesocket must be installed close to the product and must be easily accessible.
  • Disconnect the product from the power supply using the On/Off switch –ifthis is not available, unplug the power cordfromthe socket.
  • If using amulti-socket power strip, make surethat the total power consumption of all connected devices does notexceed thepower strip’s maximum throughput rating.
  • If you willnot be using the product for a prolonged period, disconnect it from mains power.

USB operation

Warning –Connection of devices

  • Before connecting adevice, check whether it can be adequately supplied with the charger’s current delivery.

  • Ensure that the total output of allthe connected devices does not exceed 12 W.

  • Note the instructions in your device’s operating manual.
    Unless different instructions have been expressly given in the operating instructions for the devices you arecharging, proceed as follows:

  • Connect your device to aUSB charging port using asuitable USB cable.

  • The charging process is displayed on your device.

  • Disconnect the device from the charger if you wish to interrupt the charging process or when the device is fully charged.

Troubleshooting

The socket is not live. Check the domestic fuse.
Changing the fuse:

  • Use asuitable screwdriver to loosen the screw (16) on the mains plug cover (15) and remove it.
  • Remove the fuse (17) and replace it with a new one.
  • Reattach the mains plug cover (15) and then close it again using the screw (16).

Care and maintenance

Note
Disconnect the device from the mains before cleaning and during prolonged periods of non-use.

  • Only clean this product with aslightly damp, lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
  • Ensure that no water is able to enter theproduct.
