Product Information

The product is a pre-lit tree that is designed for indoor use only. It comes with a power supply, and the tree sections are numbered for easy setup. The tree has a button LED indicator that allows you to switch between preset effects. Additionally, the product is compatible with the Twinkly app, which offers advanced effects, drawing capabilities, and other features.

• Read and follow all safety instructions.
• Do not use the tree outdoors unless it is marked suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
• Connect the product to an outdoor application only if it is specifically designed for outdoor use.
• Dispose of the item separately from household waste and recycle it in accordance with local environmental regulations.

Product Usage Instructions

Physical Setup

1. Set up the tree according to the number tag sequence attached to each tree section, starting from the bottom to the top.
2. Do not step on the tree stand legs during setup to avoid deformation and unbalanced tree.

Preset Effects
The tree comes with 5 preset effects: Rainbow, Snow, Updown, Fireworks, and Glow. To switch between these effects, simply plug in the tree to a power outlet and press the button on the controller.

App Download & Setup (Twinkly)

1. Go to App Store/Google Play Store or scan the provided QR codeto download and install the Twinkly app.
2. Launch the Twinkly app.
3. Select GENERATION II controller for your tree.
4. Follow the setup process on the app.

Connection Modes
There are two connection modes available:

1. Bluetooth: Use Bluetooth for the setup process only. A Wi-Fi connection is required for operation. You can connect via:
   • Home Wi-Fi network connection (recommended): Connect with your home/office Wi-Fi from the list of available networks.
   • Direct Wi-Fi connection: Select Twinkly_xxxxxx WiFi from the list of available networks. The internet on your phone will not be available in this case.
2. Skip Setup: If you have already completed the setup process, you can skip it and configure your Twinkly tree directly.

Mapping
To unlock the full potential of your Twinkly tree, you can map the layout of your decorations. This will enable advanced effects, drawing capabilities, and other upcoming features. Follow these steps:

1. Frame the tree from a distance of 1.5-2.5 meters.
2. Open Layout in the app and tap the Map Lights button. All LEDs will illuminate with different colors during the process.
3. Once the mapping process is completed, return to the Effects Gallery to enjoy advanced preset and customizable effects.

  SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
  Set up the tree according to the number tag sequence attached to each tree section from the bottom to the top.
  Section #1 from the bottom on the tree stand, followed by Section #2 on top, and so on. Random setup will result in electrical malfunction.

WARNING!

1. This product may potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy when using the motion effect light modes.
2. The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
3. Do not connect the chain to the supply while it is in the packing.
4. The lamps are not replaceable.
5. Do not interconnect parts of this lighting chain with parts of another manufacturer’s lighting chain.
6. Interconnection shall be made only by the use of the supplied connectors. Any open ends must be sealed-off before use.
7. The controller and remote controller (if included) can only be used with this product.
   CAUTION! For indoor use only.
   The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that the item should be disposed of separately from household waste. The item should be handed in for recycling in accordance with local environmental regulations for waste disposal.

1. Assemble the tree as shown in pictures.
2. Plug the power adapter into an AC outlet.
3. The tree will illuminate with default effects.

• CONTINUOUS GREEN: Direct Wi-Fi mode, connected
• FLASHING GREEN: Direct Wi-Fi mode, no device connected
• CONTINUOUS BLUE: Home Wi-Fi network mode, connected
• FLASHING BLUE: Home Wi-Fi network mode, connection in progress
• FLASHING RED: Home Wi-Fi network mode, unable to connect
• LIGHT BLUE: SETUP MODE (Bluetooth ON)
• YELLOW: Firmware Update in progress

preset effects

Twinkly comes with 5 preset effects that may be used without downloading the app. Simply plug in the tree to a power outlet, then press the button on the controller to switch between the 5 preset effects.

1. Go to App Store/Google Play Store (or scan QR code).
2. Download and install the Twinkly app.
3. Launch Twinkly app.
4. Select GENERATION II controller for your tree. Follow the setup process on the app.
   Note: All app illustrations in this document are a mere representation of the functionality and may vary from the actual app visuals.

connection modes

1. Twinkly uses Bluetooth for the setup process only. Wi-Fi connection is required for operation. You can use:

   • Home Wi-Fi network connection (recommended):
     Connect with your home/office WiFi from the list of available networks.

   • Direct Wi-Fi connection:
     Select “Twinkly_xxxxxx” WiFi from the list of available networks. Password: Twinkly2019
     (NOTE: the internet on your phone will not be available in this case)

2. Select the correct light count of your tree and tap “Configure” to complete the connection to your Twinkly tree.

Note: For best results, avoid reflective surfaces behind the tree, keep the mobile camera steady during the process and ensure a moderate ambient light (not too dark)

choose preset effects

1. Open the Effects Gallery.
2. Select the desired effect to see the real-time preview on your Twinkly set-up.
3. Swipe left or right to browse effect.
4. Tap “Apply” to store the effect and play continuously.
   Note: App user interface may change due to technical updates and improvements.

troubleshooting

• LOOSE BRANCH HINGE PIN

  • Place the loose branch into the hinge bracket
  • Insert an included spare hinge pin through the holes of the bracket
  • Secure with an included spare washer

• THE LIGHTS DO NOT SWITCH ON

  • Check that the power adapter is plugged in and that the controller is correctly connected to the device
  • Check that the LED status indicator on the controller is lit
  • Briefly press the button on the controller
  • If this doesn’t work, unplug the power adapter, wait 30 seconds and plug in again

• THE LED INDICATOR IS LIGHT BLUE, BUT MY SMARTPHONE CANNOT FIND TWINKLY

  • Unplug the power adapter, wait 30 seconds, plug it in again and repeat Configuration procedure
  • If this does not work, try to Reset (see Reset procedure below)

• THE LIGHTS ARE ON BUT MOTION EFFECTS ARE FROZEN

  • Briefly press the button on the controller
  • If this does not work, unplug the power adapter, wait 30 seconds and plug it in again

• TWINKLY SETUP WAS SUCCESSFUL, BUT THE LIGHTS DON’T RESPOND TO COMMANDS

  • Within the Twinkly application, open “Devices” and check that the Twinkly device is selected
  • If this does not work, stop the Twinkly application and launch it again
  • If this does not work, try to Reset (see Reset procedure below)
  • If this does not work, delete the Twinkly application from your smartphone, then download the latest version from AppStore or Google Play Store

• HOW CAN I CONNECT TWINKLY WITHOUT HOME WI-FI NETWORK?

  • Open Wi-Fi settings on your smartphone
  • Find and select “Twinkly_XXXXXX” network
  • Enter the Wi-Fi password “ Twinkly2019 ” and ensure that the “Twinkly_XXXXXX” network is connected
  • When resetting your Twinkly using the reset instructions, you will notice the lights start as green when the instructions say they should be red. The green lights will fade to yellow, then orange, before turning red. That is how you know your Twinkly has been properly reset.
  • If you are troubleshooting your Twinkly lights and are going through the reset process, you must disconnect from your home Wi-Fi network and reconnect to the “Twinkly_XXXXXX” Wi-Fi network to reconnect to your tree.

1. Unplug the Twinkly power adapter from the AC outlet. Press and hold the controller button.
2. While holding the button, plug in the Twinkly power adapter.
3. Keep holding the button until all LED lights on the tree turn red, then release the button.

devices storage

1. Unplug the power adapter from the AC outlet.
2. Lift tree poles up gently to disassemble, from top to bottom. Fold all branches towards the pole.
3. Close all pole caps.
4. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
