SETTING UP YOU GROW & STOW’

Please review these instructions carefully to help you set up your tree.

  1. REMOVE ALL PARTS FROM THE BOX
    • Tree base in a storage bag
    • Treetop in a storage bag
    • Parts bag containing remote control, foot pedal, power cord and adaptor, owner’s manual, and bulbs.

  2. WHEEL TREE BASE TO SET LOCATIONPolygroup Grow and Stow Christmas Trees - FIG 3 • TIP — Place your tree on a level surface and in a clear area free of obstructions and near a wall outlet.

  4. LOCK WHEELS ON TREE STAND

  5. OPEN PROTECTIVE CAP AT POLE CONNECTOR

  6. ASSEMBLE THE TREE BY INSERTING THE TREETOP INTO THE TREE BASE THROUGH THE POLE CONNECTOR
    • The tree is built with Quick Set° powered pole technology that automatically lights up the light strings when poles are connected.Polygroup Grow and Stow

  7. CONNECT WIRES TO THE FOOT PEDAL AND POWER ADAPTOR
    • Follow corresponding pin connectors to connect tree base to foot pedal.
    • Connect to power adaptor and plug into wall socket.

OPERATING YOU GROW & STOW™ TREE

Your Grow & Stow’ Tree can be operated using either the included foot pedal or remote control.

FOOT PEDAL OPERATION

  1. FLIP THE SAFETY LOCK SWITCH TO THE UNLOCK POSITION

  2. PRESS THE TREE LOGO BUTTON TO START TO GROW FUNCTION
    • Press this button at any time to control height and toggle between Grow, Pause, or Stow functions.

  3. PRESS THE LIGHT BUTTON TO TURN ON/OFF YOUR LIGHTS AND TO CONTROL LIGHT STRING EFFECTS.
    • *Only applicable to tree models with color-changing LED lights.

  4. IMPORTANT: FLIP THE SAFETY LOCK SWITCH TO THE LOCK POSITION
    • To prevent accidental stowing of your tree when fully decorated.
    • When in the lock position, both the foot pedal and remote control will not be able to Grow or Stow the tree.

REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION

  1. INSERT TWO AAA BATTERIES (NOT INCLUDED) INTO THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT
    • TIP — Make sure the safety lock switch located on the foot pedal is in the unlocked position.

  2. PRESS THE UP BUTTON TO START TO GROW FUNCTION
    • Press again to stop Grow function and pause at desired tree height.

  3. PRESS THE DOWN BUTTON TO START THE STOW FUNCTION

  4. PRESS THE LIGHT FUNCTIONS BUTTON TO TURN ON/OFF YOUR LIGHTS AND TO CONTROL LIGHT STRING EFFECTS *
    • ” Only applicable to tree models with color-changing LED lights.

  5. IMPORTANT: FLIP THE SAFETY LOCK SWITCH TO THE LOCK POSITION
    • To prevent accidental stowing of your tree when fully decorated.
    • When in the lock position, both the foot pedal and remote control will not be able to grow or stow the tree.

SHAPING YOU GROW & STOW™ TREE FORME

Your Grow & Stow'”Tree is built and designed with Simple Shape Memory Wire tips that are already pre-shaped at the factory. However, the first time you assemble your tree, it will require minimal shaping due to compression during shipping. In future seasons, the tree will retain much of the shaping from the previous season.

STORING YOUR GROW & STOW’ TREE RANGEMENT

  1. FLIP THE SAFETY LOCK SWITCH TO THE UNLOCK POSITION
  2. USE EITHER THE REMOTE CONTROLLER OR FOOT PEDAL TO ACTIVATE THE STOW FUNCTIONPolygroup Grow and Stow Christmas Trees - FIG 10 • Make sure to remove all ornaments and decorations prior to using the stow function.

  4. REMOVE THE TREETOP AND PLACE IT IN THE TREETOP BAG

  6. PULL STORAGE BAG OVER TREE BASE
  7. TIGHTEN THE DRAWSTRINGS AND BUCKLE STRAPSPolygroup Grow and Stow Christmas Trees - FIG 14
  8. UNLOCK WHEELS BEFORE STORING
  9. STORE IN A COOL, DRY AREA AWAY FROM SUNLIGHT
    • Exposing your tree to excessive heat or humidity may damage your tree.

TROUBLESHOOTING

THE TREE LIGHTS DO NOT ILLUMINATE

  • Ensure that the power cord is plugged into a wall outlet. If the tree is plugged into a switch-controlled wall outlet, make sure the switch is turned on.
  • Check the remote for batteries and then try switching the remote off and on.
  • Press the light button on the foot pedal.
  • If the tree top does not light up, check that the Quick Set treetop is securely set into the tree base. You may have to slightly turn or push down.
  • If a section does not illuminate, unplug the power cord and check that section for loose or missing bulbs. Replace any missing or broken bulbs (replacement bulbs are included).Polygroup Grow and Stow Christmas Trees - FIG 15

THE GROW AND STOW FUNCTIONS DO NOT WORK

  • Check to make sure all wires are connected properly following setup instructions.
  • Check the lock switch on the foot pedal. Switch it to the “UNLOCK” position.

THE TREE DOES NOT LOOK STRAIGHT

  • Check to make sure the floor is level and that all four wheels are on the same surface.
