Product Usage Instructions

  1. Step 1: Using a panel pry tool or a flat head screwdriver, carefully remove the fog light by releasing the pressure clips on the top and bottom of the fog light trim piece. Apply downward pressure on the top and upward pressure on the bottom to release the clips one at a time.
  2. Step 2: Attach the light brackets to the fog light shroud using the provided washers, 1/4 – 20 carriage bolts, and 1/4 – 20 nyloc nuts. Use the rubber tips to protect the fog light assembly.
  3. Step 3: Tighten the lights onto the fog light shroud with the factory screw. While tightening, adjust the light assembly to achieve the desired alignment.
  4. Step 4: Connect the included H-11 wiring adapters to the factory wiring. Ensure that the flip-flop connector is in the correct orientation. For most Toyotas, the fog light’s negative wire is a white wire with a black stripe. The Quattro light wiring goes as follows: red = positive, black = negative.
  5. Step 5: Install the Quattro light by routing the wiring, avoiding any hot or moving parts. Use the provided zip ties to keep the wiring in place.
  6. Step 6: Reinstall the removed parts in reverse order. Make sure to torque the bolts after driving 100 miles.

Tools Needed for Install

Basic tool set

Kit Contents:

  • 2x Light Bracket
  • 2x 1/4 – 20 Carriage Bolt
  • 2x 1/4 – 20 Nyloc
  • 2x Washer
  • 2x Harness Adaptors
  • 2X EPDM
  • 2X Zip Tie
  • 2x Rubber Tip
  • 2x 1/4 – 20 x 1.75 Bolt
  • 4x Lock Washer
  • 2 x 1/4 – 20 Nut

Step 1: With a panel pry tool or carefully with a flat head screwdriver, remove the fog light. This can be done by releasing the pressure clips on the top and bottom of the fog light trim piece. These clips release one at a time by applying downward pressure on the top and upward pressure to the bottom.

Some Toyota Tundras will have a blue clip holding the fog light trim to the bumper. This clip will need to be removed to release the fog light, and reinstalled to complete the installation. The inner fender lining will need to be removed to access this clip, similar to the Tacoma. With the blue clip removed, place two strips of the thinner sticky back EPDM onto the bumper in the location shown and reinstall the clip. This will help secure the shroud to the bumper and reduce vibration. Be careful not to stress or break the plastic, as this will be a snug fit. A small amount of WD-40 could be applied to the top of the EPDM to aid in installation.

Step 2: To assemble the Quattro, attach the bracket using the supplied carriage bolt, wash-er and tighten the bolt until it’s snug but not fully tight. The kit includes two thicknesses of sticky back EPDM, which is intended to be placed onto the brackets’ tabs labeled 1 & 2. For the Tundra, cut the THICK EPDM into ½” x ½” squares and place it onto the tabs’ backside.

This step is only required if the fog light trim and fog light does not sit tight in the bumper. Place a ¼” lock washer onto the included ¼”-20 x 1.75” long bolt and install bolt into the remaining slot, place another lock washer onto the bolt and thread the nut onto the bolt, fully tightening the bolt to bracket. Finally, place the rubber cap onto the end of the bolt, as shown below.

Step 3: Tighten the lights onto the fog light shroud with the factory screw. While tightening the screw, gently adjust the light assembly to ensure the desired alignment. Use the included H-11 wiring adapters to plug into factory wiring, ensuring the flip-flop connector is in the correct orientation. On most Toyotas, the fog light’s negative wire is a white wire with a black stripe. The Quattro light wiring goes as follows; red = positive, black = negative.

Now that the light is almost installed, it is a good idea to make sure the light connector is orientated correctly. With the light switch turned on, and the fog light switch turned on, the lights should now light up. If the light does not, check the H-11 connector and, if needed, flip the connector 180 degrees. This is also a good time to check light alignment and make any necessary adjustments to the beam angle. We suggest that the light be turned off while making adjustments and then turned on after to check alignment. This will help prevent any accidental short circuiting.

Step 4: With the Quattro installed, route the wiring, avoiding any hot or moving parts, and use zip ties to keep the wiring in place. Reinstall the removed parts in reverse order, making sure to torque the bolts after driving 100 miles.
