InCarTec 29-CTUFT02 Fiat Infodapter With Vehicle Setting
Product Information
The 29-CTUFT02 Fiat Infodapter is a device designed for Fiat 500X 2015> vehicles. It allows for the display of vehicle settings and parking sensor information on any aftermarket head unit that has a rear camera input. Additionally, the Infodapter enables the use of steering wheel controls with most steering wheel control compatible head units available in the market.
DIP Switch Settings
The DIP switch settings on the Infodapter are as follows
- Switch 1 : Aftermarket head unit
- Switch 2 : Infodapter
- Switch 3 : Steering Wheel Control Input
- Switch 4 : Reverse Camera Input
Interface Connections
The Infodapter has the following interface connections
- Reverse Camera output to head unit and reverse camera input from optional camera
- Power Harness
- Steering Wheel Remote control connector to head unit
- Not Used
Steering Wheel Controls
The Infodapter supports the following steering wheel controls
- Speech Button
- Track Up/Down Buttons
Product Usage Instructions
Configuration Menu
To access the configuration menu, follow these steps
- If available, push and hold the speech button for 2 seconds. If there is no speech button, use the pick-up button instead.
- This will enable the configuration menu.
- Use the Track Up/Track Down buttons to navigate through the menu options.
- To select a menu option, press the corresponding button.
Vehicle Settings
In the configuration menu, you can access various vehicle settings.
These include
- Display Clock
- Doors and Locks
- Lights
- Safety and Driving Assistance
- Vehicle Off Options
Screen Size/Position
In the Vehicle Settings menu, you can adjust the screen size and position.
Follow these steps
- Make sure all four corner markers are touching the corners of the aftermarket head unit display.
- Adjust the horizontal size and position as well as the vertical size and position as desired.
Picture Settings
In the Infodapter Settings menu, you can adjust the picture settings. This
includes brightness, contrast, and color saturation.
Preferences
In the Infodapter Settings menu, you can also access preferences for the
device.
ABOUT
Infodapter for Fiat 500X 2015> vehicles allows vehicle setting and parking
sensor information to be displayed on any aftermarket head unit with rear
camera input. The Infodapter also allows the use of the steering wheel
controls with almost every steering wheel control compatible head unit on the
market.
DIP SWITCH SETTINGS
See Fig 1.
Up = Off, Down = On
- On = Pioneer head units. Off = All other head units
- Setting for reverse camera. On = PAL, Off = NTSC. The default setting is Off (NTSC).
- Resets the display settings back to default. If the display settings have been manipulated in a way that it is no longer possible to make adjustments, change the DIP switch #3 from Off to On and back. This will reset the screen settings to the factory defaults. During this procedure the screen background will change to red. While the background is red, no settings can be made.

Configuration Menu

Vehicle Settings
Vehicle settings can be adjusted via the menu. All vehicle setup options that
were available with the original head unit, are now available through the
aftermarket head unit. See the vehicle handbook for more information regarding
these features.
Infodapter Settings
Screen Size/Position
Make sure all 4 corner markers are touching the corners of the aftermarket
head unit display.
Picture Settings
Adjust Brightness, contrast and colour saturation.
Preferences
- Park Assist Version – Select according to the colour configuration of the park assist fitted to the vehicle.
- Camera Connected – Select Yes if an optional camera is connected.
- **Reverse Priority** – Select which image (Camera or Park Assist) will be shown by default when reversing. The driver can select the desired image by pushing the Source button (Fig.3) while reversing. (Note this option is only available when Camera Connected is set to Yes)
- Park Brake Source – Set to Speed, Brake or Always On.
- Restore factory settings – Reverts all Infodapter settings to factory defaults.
- (This does not restore vehicle settings)
