Product Information: 29-CTH06 Honda Steering Wheel Control Interface
The 29-CTH06 Honda Steering Wheel Control Interface is designed for CR-V (RM1/RM3) 2012 – 2016 Civic-Tourer (9 Gen) 2014 – 2015, and Civic (9 Gen) 2012 – 2015 for non-amplified vehicles without navigation. This product allows time/date change from the steering wheel, Bluetooth phone button support, and is compatible with CAN-Bus Vehicles. It comes with an interface, harness, and instruction manual, and will not work with Connect system.

Prior to Installation
Read the manual prior to installation. Technical knowledge is necessary for installation. The place of installation must be free of moisture and away from heat sources. Please ensure you use the correct tools to avoid damage to the vehicle or product.

Product Usage Instructions
Fitting Guide:

Remove and disconnect the original head unit.

Connect the 12 way molex connector of the head unit patch lead (supplied separately) to the interface.

Connect the opposite end of head unit patch lead to the head unit steering wheel control input on the back of the aftermarket head unit. This may be a 3.5mm jack plug or a wire input depending upon the head unit brand being fitted. Please see the head unit installation manual for further information on where to connect.
Important Note: This step must be completed before connecting power to the interface. Failure to do so may result in no steering wheel control function. -
Connect the 14 way molex connector to the interface.

Connect the male power/speaker ISO harness to the female power/speaker ISO harness from the aftermarket head unit. For aftermarket head units without an ISO connector, please refer to the wiring colours on Pg. 2.

Next, connect the Bluetooth connector on the loom (32 pin, brown/black wires) to the vehicle. Firstly, disconnect the OEM Bluetooth connector from the Bluetooth module in the vehicle, and plug the 32 pin connector straight into the OEM connector to bypass the module.

Connect the female vehicle specific connector to the male vehicle connector.

Test head unit for correct operation.
Steering Wheel Control Functions:
- Volume +
- Pick Up
- Track –
- Track +
- Hang Up
- Volume –
- Mute (No Voice Recognition)
Setting of Clock/Date:
- Press and hold `MENU’ to enter clock setting mode.
- Press
CH+’ and
CH-‘ to toggle between hour, minute, date, month and year. The relevant character will flash when selected. - Change the value of each character by pressing
VOL+’ and
VOL-‘ - Once time and date have been set, press and hold `MENU’ to exit.

**STEERING WHEEL CONTROL FUNCTIONS

SETTING OF CLOCK/DATE
- Press and hold ‘MENU’ to enter clock setting mode
- Press ‘CH+’ and ‘CH-’ to toggle between hour, minute, date, month and year. The relevant character will flash when selected.
- Change the value of each character by pressing ‘VOL+’ and ‘VOL-’
- Once time and date has been set, press and hold ‘MENU’ to exit.
