Product Information
The ModelB3 is a fingerprint lock that can be used to secure office doors, home wooden doors, and more. It is made of zinc alloy and has a fingerprint capacity of 50pcs. The fingerprint head type
is semiconductor and it comes in black, coffee, or silver color options. It has a static power of 80ua and uses 4 AAA batteries or Type C power supply. The unlocking methods include fingerprint,
password, card, APP, Bluetooth, and key. The lock also has an emergency interface in the form of a mechanical key that should not be kept indoors.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Ensure that the door thickness is between 35-55mm.
2. Take out the single tongue lock body and open the hole position of the lock body as shown in the diagram.
3. Adjust the distance between the holes of the lock body to either 60mm or 70mm, depending on your preference.
4. Measure the thickness of the door and confirm whether the shaft length is fit. Generally, the shaft length exceeds the actual door thickness by 35-40mm. If it is too long, cut it to fit.
5. Install the lock body according to the door opening direction and adjust the direction of reversing indicator on the front panel of the lock.
6. Screw two set screws to the front panel and connect the studs to set screws respectively.
7. Take out the square bar, pass through the lock body that has been fixed on the door, sort out the data line of the front panel, insert it into the inside of the door through the square bar hole, and fix the front panel on the door.
8. Insert the square bar into the square bar hole of the front panel, adjust the screw hole of the rear panel, align it front and rear, and use the screw to lock the front and rear panels.
9. Adjust the position, manually rotate the front and rear panels left and right, and check whether the left and right rotation is normal.
10. Install 4 No. 7 batteries in the battery box, plug the power cord into the circuit board interface of the rear panel, cover the battery cover, and tighten the screws to complete the installation.
11. Use the initial password 123456# or any fingerprint, card to unlock and test whether the function is normal.
    Note: The lock can be used as a stand-alone operation only for software Ver.2.24 or above. For new lock or after lock initialized, first add the super administrator password (6-digit password), and then add ordinary users. In the initial state, any fingerprint, card or password 123456# can unlock, which will automatically become invalid after setting up a super administrator.

Warning: Fingerprint lock mechanical key is used as an emergency unlocking method, please do not keep it indoors!

Reversing instructions
Firstly, confirm whether the lock body is a “single tongue lock body” or a “double tongue lock body”, then, take out the shaft from the accessory kit and insert it into the hole on the front panel, rotate the shaft to adjust the door opening direction.

1. When using the “single tongue lock body”, please turn the “reversing indicator” to the “S”.
2. When using the “double tongue lock body”, if opening the door on the left, the “reversing indicator” is aligned with the “L”; when opening the door on the right, the “reversing indicator” is aligned with the “R”.

Installation Notes

1. Take out the single tongue lock body④, and open the hole position of the lock body as shown in the diagram

2. The distance between the holes of the lock body is 60mm or 70mm, and the appropriate distance can be adjusted by yourself, and the default is 60mm;
3. Before installation, measure the thickness of the door, and take out the shaft ⑤ in the accessory kit, then confirm whether the shaft length is fit. Generally, the shaft length exceeds the actual door thickness by 35~40mm. If it is too

long, please cut it;

4. Install the lock body according to the door opening direction, and adjust the direction of “reversing indicator” on the front panel of the lock (refer to 3.1 “reversing instructions”);

5. Find two set screws ② and screw them to the front panel ①, and then connect the studs ③ to set screws② respectively;

6. Take out the square bar ⑤, pass through the lock body ④ that has been fixed on the door, sort out the data line of the front panel, insert it into the inside of the door through the square bar hole, and fix the front panel on the door. The square bar ⑤ must be inserted into the square bar hole of the front panel, do not press the data line, adjust the screw hole of the rear panel,
   align it front and rear, and use the screw ⑦ to lock the front and rear panels;

7. Adjust the position, manually rotate the front and rear panels left and right and check whether the left and right rotation is normal;

8. Install 4 No. 7 batteries in the battery box ⑧, put them into the inner panel  ⑥, plug the power cord into the circuit board interface of the rear panel, cover the battery cover ⑨, and tighten the screws ⑩, and the installation is completed;

9. Use the initial password “123456#” or “any fingerprint, card” to unlock and test whether the function is normal;

System settings

In the initial state, any fingerprint, card or password “123456#” can unlock, which will automatically become invalid after setting up a super administrator.

Lock settings (stand-alone operation)
For new lock or after lock initialized, first add the super administrator password (6-digit password), and then add ordinary users.（Note: Stand-alone operation is only applicable to software Ver.2.24 or above.）

Normal open mode
Open normal open mode: After unlocking by fingerprint, password or card, press “5#” to start this mode. Cancel the normal open mode: Cancel automatically by any unlocking method to unlock one time.

Restore initial factory settings

Physical reset: Open the battery cover, press the black button on the reset board at the end for 5 seconds, and after hearing the sound of beeping 5 times, the system emits a long beeping sound. The reset is done. After reset, the password is the initial password “123456#” or any fingerprint or card can unlock the door.
Note: After “Delete Lock” on the App, the lock information will still be retained. If you need to clear up the lock information, please use the method of physical reset.

Alarm prompt description

Low battery alarm reminder: When the battery is low, the reminder sound will be “beeping for many times. The battery must be replaced in time to keep the lock in normal use. In an emergency, you can use the USB external power supply (5V) to supply power.
Information input error prompt: when the unlocking information is entered incorrectly, the prompt sound will be 2 consecutive beeping; if the continuous input error exceeds 5 times, the prompt sound will be 3 times long “beeping” sound, the system will be locked for 90 seconds (removal method: re-power on the battery or wait for 90 seconds until automatically release).
Combination unlock prompt: When the combination mode is turned on, after the first unlocking information is entered, a “beeping” sound will be emitted at a short interval of 3 seconds.
Reset prompt: long press the reset button, the prompt sound is 5 times “beeping” consecutively.

Dada lock operation

Download App
Search and download the “dada lock” App on Google play, register and log in.

On the home page, click the menu in the upper left corner, add a lock, select the Bluetooth lock starting with “WEM”, enter the lock name (custom), and the lock password (this password is a 6-digit super password, which is the only highest authority), and click “OK”.
After the lock is added to the App, enter the main page and perform other function operations. For details, see the following list 7.2~7.6.

7.2 User Management| Add user information, 10 secondary administrators, and the rest are ordinary users. When the adding information interface pops up, you can directly enter any unlocking methods like “fingerprint”, “password” and “card” (the collection times of unlocking ways are: fingerprint 5 times, password 2 times, card 1 time.).

Enter fingerprint: your finger on the fingerprint reader to make the collection surface as large as possible. If the fingerprint is repeated, you need to re-enter it until the prompt “Complete Entry”.

Enter password: The valid password is 6 digits. After entering the password, press the “#” key to confirm.

Enter card: Please put the card on the card reading area, and the App will remind the entry completed.

7.3 Temporary password| Temporary passwords have four modes that can be selected according to the actual

needs.

Visitor mode| Generate a temporary password according to the effective time, in minutes, effective times: one time;
Moving mode| Generate temporary passwords based on the effective number of times, with the number of times as the unit, unlimited use time, and the effective number of door

openings should not exceed 10 times;

Short-term rental mode| Set the effective time and expiry time, the length of time can reach 15 years.
Nanny mode| Set the effective time and expiry time every day, and days as the recurring unit.
7.4 Operation record| All lock operation records can be queried and exported. You must click “Sync” before checking to avoid missing information.
7.5 Authorization| Remotely authorize other users to manage locks. Authorized users must register for the “DADA LOCK” APP. This function is limited to super administrators and is suitable for Apartment and Homestay management. It also can set the password valid period

or number of times, modify or delete authorized users.

7.6 Lock management| The lock management function can review and modify the super management password, lock back time setting, mute setting, normal open mode, combination unlocking, software upgrade and other functions.
Modify lock information| Click to check the super administrator password, modify and save it at any time.
Automatic locking back| Refers to the automatic locking time after unlocking, which can be set within the range of 3S~10S freely. Recommend to set the normal time is between 3S~5S.
Normally open mode| Start normally open mode: enter the normally open mode to set the time required for normally open, click the sync button, after the APP is set, the lock must be opened once before the normally open function will take effect; in the normally open mode, press the number key “*” at any time to lock the door, or turn off the normally open mode on the APP;

Turn off the normally open mode: open the APP, click to turn off the normally open mode, refresh and synchronize;

Combination unlocking| After setting the fingerprint, password, and card, when this function is turned on, the

lock can only be unlocked when any two unlocking methods are correct (except for the administrator).

Firmware upgrade| When there is the latest software version, you can upgrade the latest firmware online in the APP under the bluetooth connection status. The upgrade takes about 1 minute. Please do not operate the mobile phone during the upgrade process. If there is any interruption or no response, please exit and upgrade again. After the upgrade prompt is successful, if the lock does not respond, please take the battery and power on again.

Some products do not have this function.
