Introduction
Usage and after updates have been installed determine battery life. Features that are supported may differ between smartphone platforms and nations, and compatibility may change. Not compatible with devices lacking the Google Play Store or the Android Go edition.
CHARGE & POWER ON
Connect your smart watch to the included charger. Once it automatically turns on, tap the screen to begin and choose your language. Keeps your smart watch charging during pairing and setup.
GETTING SET UP
Let’s start by linking your new smartwatch with your smartphone. Here’s how:
- STEP 1 Connect your watch to the included charger. On your phone, download the Wear OS by GoogleTM app, open the app and tap Set It up.
- STEP 2 On your phone, tap the name of your watch and compare the Codes that appear on both screens
- STEP 3 If the codes that appear are the same, tap Pair on your phone. Pairing can take a few minutes. If the two codes are not the same, restart you watch and try again. If the code still doesn’t match:
- Check your bluetooth connection.
- Restart both devices.
- Unpair and try again.
- STEP 4 On your phone, tap the name of your watch and compare the Codes that appear on both screens.
GETTING CONNECTED
Some things are better together. Your smartwatch can connect to Bluetooth devices or WiFi to do even more.
CONNECT TO BLUETOOTH DEVICES
Set the Bluetooth device to pairing mode.
Swipe down on your watch to open quick shade settings.
- Tap the Settings icon and go to Connectivity > Bluetooth > Available devices.
- Tap the name of the Bluetooth device to connect to it.
IF YOU’RE HAVING TROUBLE CONNECTING, TRY THESE STEPS:
BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
On your phone, go to Settings > Device connection > Bluetooth and check that it is toggled on.
RESTART YOUR WATCH
Long hold the crown button and tap Restart to reboot your device.
CONNECT TO WIFI
On your watch, go to Settings > Connectivity > WiFi to add a network.

FIND MY PHONE
Can’t find your phone? No problem. Swipe down and tap the Find my phone icon to ring your phone. It will work even if your phone is on silent.
PAY ON THE GO
Checkout made simple. Set up your card in the Google Pay™ app on your watch, then simply open and twist your wrist to turn your watch face near the terminal until you feel a vibration.
CONTROL YOUR MUSIC
Control your music right from your wrist. Pause or skip tracks and control the volume all with a tap.
GOOGLE FIT
Get healthy with Google Fit™. Track your progress with activity goals like Heart Points, based on recommendations from American Heart Association and World Health Organization.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you receive and make calls on the watch while connected to an iphone?
Wear OS is compatible with iPhone devices with iOS version 12.0+. Once you have set it up with your phone, it will allow you to make and receive calls.
Does this watch have a lap counter?
Yes. You can use the Activity Tracker feature to count the steps, track the calories burned, distance travelled and more.
Does it have international warranty?
Yes. Should you require work under warranty, please send in your watch, a copy of your sales receipt and/or the warranty booklet with dealer stamp and a description of the problem to the authorized international watch service center closest to you.
Can you respond to text messages?
The Gen 6 Smartwatch has the capabilities to receive notifications for text messages. Android users are able to reply to text messages directly from the Smartwatch, while iPhone users will need to respond to text messages directly from their phone.
Has anyone tried the spo2 oxygen feature and does it work?
Spo2 allows you to keep a track of your blood oxygen level with a sensor built into the watch.
I use swingu app on iphone for golf. does this phone support that app?

Can this pair with two phones at once? For work and personal?

Could you turn off the Bluetooth function on the watch?
Yes
Does the watch sync information with a Dexcom Blood Sugar sensor?
If you are using an iPhone, this is not compatible with the watch. We’ve also seen that it depends on the Dexcom device.
Does this work with the Dexcom G6?
If you’re able to download the Google wear app. It will work just fine.
Can we exchange a 5 star review for a sample?

Will the new Gen 6 work with the Verizon Network or does it require tethering to a smart phone in order to place and receive calls/text?
The Gen 6 Smartwatch does not feature LTE. For full functionality of this smartwatch, a bluetooth connection is required to a smartphone.
Can i response to alarm direct from watch?
If the alarm was set up on the Fossil Gen 6 smartwatch it can be turned off directly from the watch. However, if the alarm is set up on the phone, it needs to be turned off on the phone.
Does this track your ekg?
No
Will it alarm for low or fast heart rate?
You are able to monitor, but no alarm will sound off.
Does it come with a band?
This watch comes with the stainless steel band you see attached in the picture, it does not come with an extra Interchangeable band.
Will this work with the iOS?
This watch will work with phones running the latest version of Android™ (excluding Go edition and phones without Google Play Store) or iOS. Supported features may vary between platforms.
Is this compatible with the Polar H10 or similar chest heart rate straps?
Please know that this watch has a built-in heart rate monitor. At the same time, if you’d rather use a chest strap instead of the HR monitor, you can pair one to this watch just like you would a pair of wireless headphones.
