Product Usage Instructions:

Step 1: Check door dimensions
If the dimensions do not match, you may need to modify your door. -
Step 2: Install the latch
1. Align the latch with the designated area on the door.
2. Screw the latch into place using the provided latch/strike screws.
3. Make sure the bevel on the latch faces the door frame.- Step 3: Remove handles and interior chassis
1. Loosen the screw on the handles using the large hex wrench.
2. Pull the levers off.
3. Remove the interior chassis.- Step 4: Install the latch
1. Align and push the interior chassis into the latch.
2. Screw the interior chassis into place using two screws.
3. Ensure the chassis is straight and hold it in place.-
Step 5: Privacy Function Only – Choose lock pin location
The lock pin location is based on preference and does not change the function. -
Step 6: Install the exterior chassis
1. Connect the exterior chassis to the trim.
2. Push the assembly through the latch.
3. Ensure that the trim hole and lock pin mirror each other at the top or bottom.
4. Repeat the process for the other side of the door.-
Step 7: Install the handles
Note: Switch handles if desired. -
Step 8: Install the interior chassis
Secure the interior chassis with two screws. -
Step 9: Screw chassis into place
Make sure the chassis is straight and hold it in place while screwing it into place. -
Step 10: Install the trim
1. Loosen the screw on the trim using the small hex wrench.
2. Remove the interior chassis.- Step 11: Adjust latch
To adjust between backset lengths, pull/push the center of the latch.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

Check door dimensions
If dimensions do not match, you may need to modify your door. -
Check door dimensions.
- Check latch length.
- Measure the backset as shown above.
- 2 ³/8″ (60 mm): no adjustment is necessary.
- 2 ³/4″ (70 mm): see the “Adjust latch” section.

Install the latch.
Install latch -
Install the latch.
Use included strike for best performance. -
PRIVACY FUNCTION ONLY: Choose lock pin location.
Lock pin location is based on preference and does not change the function. -
Remove handles and interior chassis.
Loosen screw on handles with large hex wrench. Pull levers off. -
Install the exterior chassis.

Exterior chassis is connected to trim. Push assembly through latch.

Trim hole and lock pin must mirror each other at the top or bottom.

Install the interior chassis.
Align and push the chassis into latch. -
Screw chassis into place.
Secure with two (2) screws
Make sure chassis is straight! -
**Install the trim.

- Install the handles.
Repeat for the other side of the door.
Privacy locks only
The Allen wrench doubles as a bedroom/bathroom emergency unlock tool. Save for
future use.
How to remove and swap levers:
- Loosen the pre- installed set screws to remove levers. Do not remove set screws.
- Swap levers.
- Tighten set screws.
Adjust latch
To adjust between backset lengths, pull/ push center of latch
