Important – Please read these instructions fully before installing or operating

Power source

  • Only use the power supply that came with the product. Using an unauthorized power supply will invalidate your guarantee and may irrecoverably damage the product.
  • Disconnect your FM Alarm Clock Radio from the mains power supply during thunderstorms.
  • Always check that you have completely switched off your FM Alarm Cock Radio before you change or disconnect the power supply.
  • Where the mains power plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.
  • Only use recommended batteries or those of the same or equivalent type.
  • Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
  • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
  • Never throw batteries in a fire or attempt to open the outer casing.
  • Batteries are harmful if swallowed, so keep away from young children.
  • CAUTION: Danger of explosion if batteries are incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.

Moisture and water

  • Do not leave it in low temperatures as moisture can form inside the product, which may damage the circuit board.

Heat sources and flames

  • Do not leave it in high temperatures as electronic devices and plastic parts may warp in heat.

Ventilation

  • Do not block or cover slots, holes or openings on the product by placing on soft furnishings such as carpets, rugs or beds as these are provided for functionality and/or ventilation to ensure safe operation of the product.
  • The underneath and sides of this product may become warm after a long period of use. This is normal.

Positioning the FM Alarm Clock Radio
It is important that you consider carefully in advance where your FM Alarm Clock Radio will be situated and make sure that it is:

  • on a flat and stable surface.
  • within 1.4 metres of a power socket. Please ensure that the mains power lead is not a trip hazard.
  • at least 1 metre away from other electrical appliances to avoid interference.
  • where there is enough height for the telescopic radio aerial.
  • Never place your FM Alarm Clock Radio directly onto antique or polished surfaces.

Caution
To avoid possible hearing damage, do not listen to this FM Alarm Clock Radio at high volume levels for long periods of time. Always keep the volume within reasonable limits.

Power Supply

AC: 100-240V ~ 50/60 Hz 0.55MAX
DC: 2*1.5V battery type AA (not included) for backup These batteries must be replaced every six months.

  1. Insert the plug of power cord into a standard wall outlet.
  2. Install the backup batteries in their compartment. Use only the size and type of batteries specified. Respected the polarity indicated in the compartment. Improper polarity can cause damage to the device. Don’t attempt to recharge the batteries,

Backup System

All settings are memorized, however, the clock time could occasionally need to be readjusted. In case of power failure, if backup batteries are not installed, the screen will flash to indicate this power failure and the necessity to redo your settings.

Setting the Time

  1. In standby mode, press and hold CLOCK button, the display will flash, set the time with HOUR+- and/or MINUTE+-
  2. After 4 seconds, the current display will be automatically stored.

Turn On/Off unit

The unit is in clock mode when it is plugged in, press button to turn on or long press to turn off.

Sound Volume

Press VOL-/AL1 or VOL+/AL2 to adjust sound level. There are 16 volume levels.

Dimmer

Press and hold SNOOZE/DIMMER/SLEEP button to select the brightness of the screen: high ,middle or low.

Listening to the radio
Manual search

  1. Press TUNING+- button to turn on the radio.
  2. Choose your radio station with TUNING- or TUNING+

Automatic search
Press and hold for few seconds TUNING- or TUNING+ The automatic search locates strong stations. A station with a weak signal can be set manually by repeatedly pressing TUNING- or TUNING+.
NOTE: During the search operation, the sound level is automatically muted.

Preset station

  1. This unit can store 20 FM stations
    1.Select a radio channel manually or in automatic search.
    2.Press TUNING- or TUNING+ to select a channel.
    3.Press PRESET button and hold for 2 seconds until the LED flash ,then press
    4.Repeat steps 1-3 to store other stations.

Preset station

This unit can store 20 FM stations
Select a radio channel manually or in automatic search.

  1. Press TUNING- or TUNING+ to select a channel.
  2. Press PRESET button and hold for 2 seconds until the LED flash,then press TUNING+- button to select station, the unit will auto save after 4 seconds.
  3. Repeat steps 1-3 to store other stations.

Listening to station presets

Press PRESET button then press TUNING +- button to select your station.

Setting the Alarm mode

  1. In standby mode, press VOL-/AL1 (press VOL+/AL2 to set alarm 2), the display blinks.
  2. Press VOL-/AL1 (press VOL+/AL2 to set alarm 2) again to select the source of to wake up : Buzzer, or FM Radio.
  3. Press HOUR+- and/or MINUTE+- to set the time of wake up.
  4. Press VOL-/AL1 (press VOL+/AL2 to set alarm 2) to confirm, the alarm indicator Alarm1 (Buzzer or Radio) lights up.

Stopping the Alarm

  1. Alarm repetition
    Press SNOOZE. The alarm stops and will sound again 9 minutes later.

  2. Alarm stop
    Press button , the alarm will sound again the next day at the same time.

  3. Alarm Cancellation

Press VOL-/AL1 (press VOL+/AL2 to cancel alarm 2) repeatedly until the alarm indicator lights off. The alarm will be cancelled permanently.

Sleep function

For using the Sleep function, Press button then SNOOZE/DIMMER/SLEEP. to select 90-80-70-60-50-40-30-20 or 10 minutes of listening. Indicator lights up. The unit will automatically turn off after the specified time. To cancel the sleep function, press SNOOZE/DIMMER/SLEEP repeatedly until OFF is displayed, the radio will be turn off . Yan can press button to turn the radio on.

Troubleshooting

If you are experiencing problems with your FM Alarm Clock Radio, there are some quick and easy checks that you can do, which may help to solve the problem.

No sound / power:

Adjust the volume using the volume control button.

Check that the mains power wall socket is switched on and that the FM Alarm Clock Radio is not in Standby mode. Press and release the Power button.

Replace the batteries by full power batteries.

Check that you are trying to use the function buttons for the mode that you are in.

Radio reception is poor:

Fully extend the telescopic aerial to get the best reception and sound quality.

Retune the radio station/s, see pages 10.

Try moving your FM Alarm Clock Radio to another location to see if reception improves.

Check that you do not have other electrical equipment too close to your FM Alarm Clock Radio causing interference.
