Product Usage Instructions

Assemble and/or install the DS-XL LED track and plug all connectors as shown in the diagram of your configuration on the previous page.

Download and install the Forest Connect App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store by scanning the QR code or searching for it manually.

Connect your smartphone or tablet to your WiFi network. Note:
The WiFi dimmer only supports 2.4GHz networks. During configuration, the smartphone or tablet must be connected to the same WiFi network to which the dimmer needs to be connected. -
Launch the Forest Connect App and follow the in-app instructions to configure the WiFi dimmer.
Troubleshooting
- I don’t see any lights on the LED strip after plugging in:
- Try to bypass the WiFi dimmer and check if the LED strip lights up.
- If the LED strip doesn’t light up, check the track connections.
- Make sure the power adapter, WiFi dimmer, and LED strip are plugged in.
- Disconnect the power, wait for 5 seconds, then connect the power again.
- If the LED blinks, follow the in-app instructions.
- If the LED strip still doesn’t light up, turn the power OFF-ON three times consecutively. The LED strip should start blinking, then follow the in-app instructions.
- The WiFi dimmer won’t connect to my Wi-Fi network:
- Repeat the in-app configuration process.
- Make sure the correct Wi-Fi network was chosen.
- Ensure the Wi-Fi password was entered correctly.
- Verify that the Wi-Fi dongle is within reach of the Wi-Fi router.
- Make sure the Wi-Fi network is operating at 2.4GHz. 5GHz networks are not supported.
- Try switching the dongle to Access Point mode.
- I want to hard-reset the dongle to factory settings: Turn the power OFF-ON three times consecutively.
- The LED is flashing slowly instead of fast or vice versa: Press and hold the configuration button for 5 seconds.

Assemble and/or install the DS-XL LED track and plug all connectors as in the diagram of your configuration on previous page.

Download and install the Forest Connect App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store:

- try to bypass the Wifi dimmer and watch if the LED strip lights up: when LED strip doesn’t light up, check the track connections
- make sure the power adapter, Wifi dimmer and LED strip are plugged in

- when the LED strip still doesn’t light up, turn power OFF-ON three times consecutively. the LED strip should start blinking, follow the in- app instructions.

The Forest DS-XL LED dimmer is not suitable for humid spaces, like bathrooms
or outdoors.
It is important for the safety of persons to follow these instructions. Keep

system must be assembled with original parts and devices of Forest Group
