Product Information
The MB130 Multi I/O Board is a versatile device that offers multiple input/output options. It is compatible with various 2D Scan Engines, except for the MT84G model. The board features a Good Read/Power LED Buzzer, Trigger, UART interface, USB HID, and USBVCP (Virtual COM port) for direct output. It can convert UART to USB VCP using the MB130.
The MB130 Multi I/O Board is available as part of the MB130 Demo Kit, which includes the following components:

Product Usage Instructions
Connecting the MB130 Multi I/O Board:
- Ensure that the power to any connected devices is turned off.
- Connect the MB130 Multi I/O Board to the desired 2D Scan Engine using the appropriate connector.
- If using the MT84G model, please note that it is not compatible with the MB130 Multi I/O Board.
- If converting UART to USB VCP, connect the UART interface of the device to the MB130 Multi I/O Board.
- Connect the Micro USB Cable to the MB130 Multi I/O Board and the other end to a USB port on your computer or power source.
Using the MB130 Multi I/O Board:
The MB130 Multi I/O Board provides various input/output options for your
convenience. Follow the instructions below to utilize its features:
Good Read/Power LED Buzzer:
The Good Read/Power LED Buzzer indicates successful scans and provides audio
feedback. It is automatically activated when connected to a compatible 2D Scan
Engine.
Trigger:
The Trigger button on the MB130 Multi I/O Board allows you to manually
initiate scans or perform other actions, depending on the connected device’s
configuration. Press the Trigger button to activate the desired function.
UART and USB VCP:
The MB130 Multi I/O Board supports UART and USB VCP interfaces. If you wish
to convert UART to USB VCP, connect the UART interface of your device to the
MB130 Multi I/O Board. This allows direct output via USB.
USB HID:
The MB130 Multi I/O Board also offers USB HID functionality. Connect the
board directly to a USB port on your computer or compatible device to enable
HID output. Please refer to the user manual for your specific 2D Scan Engine
or device for further information on utilizing the MB130 Multi I/O Board.
