Product Usage Instructions
- Parking Safety: Before leaving the vehicle, ensure that the gearshift lever is in Park to prevent accidents upon device starting. Make sure that automatic vehicles cannot start in Drive.
- Servicing: Disable or put the device into valet mode before servicing the vehicle.
- User Registration:
- Download the free DroneMobile App from the App Store or Google Play.
- Open the DroneMobile App and press Register.
- Enter the serial number of your device.
- Input a valid email address to create your DroneMobile username.
- Check your inbox for a confirmation email and click the link to confirm your email address.

WARNING
It is the responsibility of the vehicle operator to ensure that their vehicle is parked in a safe and responsible manner.
- When leaving the vehicle, it is the user’s responsibility to ensure that the gearshift lever is in “Park” in order to avoid accidents upon device starting. (Note: Make sure that the automatic vehicle cannot star in “Drive”.)
- It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that the device is disabled or put into valet mode before servicing.

Part 15.105
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. - This device should be installed and operated with minimum 20 cm between the radiator and your body.
User Registration
- To create a DroneMobile Account, please begin by downloading the free DroneMobile App from the App Store or Google Play. Open the DroneMobile App and press “Register”.
- Enter the DR-X2 MAX serial number printed on the Keychain Tag. You can do this quickly by pressing “Scan” in the DroneMobile App, or by manually inputting the serial number.
- If you did not receive a keychain tag from your dealer/installer, please contact them immediately to retrieve this information. You will be unable to create an account without your serial number.
- Once you have entered your serial number, please input a valid email address. This will be your DroneMobile username.
- To confirm your email address, please check your inbox for a confirmation email. Once you have received the email, please click the link to complete the registration process.
- If you do not receive the confirmation email, refresh your email or check your junk/spam folder.
- Reopen your DroneMobile App to begin your connected car journey!

Dealer Activation & Installation
- Confirm your DR-X2 MAX is connected to power by verifying that the on-board LEDs are lighting up. DR-X2 MAX modules can be connected to power via the following:
- A direct connection to a compatible aftermarket remote start or security system using the included data harness.
- Go to myFirstech Install at https://install.myfirstech.com using your desktop, tablet, or smartphone’s web browser.
- Note: Internet Explorer is not supported.
- Login to your DroneMobile Dealer Account and enter the DR-X2 MAX device’s serial number. It is the top barcode on the module sticker.
- You cannot use your personal DroneMobile User Account to activate a DR-X2 MAX.
- If you do not have a dealer login, you can “Activate as Guest”. You will also be required to also enter the DR-X2 MAX device’s ICC ID.
- Activate, test, and configure your DR-X2 MAX system by following the prompts on your web browser.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: For your security, the DR-X2 MAX is equipped with a Lithium-ion Backup Battery, which automatically activates in the event of main battery shutoff. If connected to the DroneMobile app, the DR-X2 MAX will alert you when the backup battery is activated.
- Do not attempt to disassemble, open or service the battery pack.
- Do not crush, puncture. or dispose of in fire or water.
- Do not store above 140°F (60°C)
