- General Notes:
- Use Cable Cat6 wire between Speakers & XT-160AMP, normal sound cables can be used but Cat6 will be more easy for you to fix inside the Amplifier Ports.
- Use the External 1M Bluetooth antenna (PIC-01) Free included inside the XT-160 AMP box when you install the XT-160AMP inside the room ceiling.
- Use a separate Electrical Power switch ON/OFF for your XT-160AMP inside your room (same as a light switch).
- Make sure the room is a cool place, not more than 25°C.
- Use 8 ohms Speakers, Each speaker not more than 20W, for 8-Ports Audio, Total maximum 160W Amplifier.
- Make sure the XT-160 AMP Power OFF Position before you connect the AC to the Amplifier.
Product Usage Instructions
- Power on the Product:
- Make sure the AC source is in OFF Position.
- Connect the Amplifier UK power cord cable to the AC source.
- Turn ON the AC source then turn ON the Amplifier Power ON Switch in the back.
- The Amplifier will start to announce the Bluetooth ready tone, waiting for the user to connect the device for use.
- Remote Control:In the Normal situation, The Remote control is already PAIRED with the XT-160AMP (Amplifier) from the factory. Just try to Power ON/OFF the device using the Remote to check if the PAIR is OK.
Make sure the new Remote control has a new battery and the Red LED The remote is working when you press any Key.
1. Pair the Remote Control:
1. Long press 2 seconds for the RC-Pair button which located behind the XT-160AMP (PIC-1), until you will hear a sound prompt tone saying (remote ready for pairing) and the Red LED behind the Amplifier will start Blinking.
2. Press (Power) button No.1 in the Remote Control (PIC-2) for 3 Sec. You will hear (remote paired successfully) and the Red LED behind the Amplifier will STOP Blinking.
3. Start using the Remote Control.

- Mic PAIR will not be lost.
- Sound Broadcast the amplifier reset prompt tone.

Start Up

General Informations about Bluetooth :
- The BT button in the remote control is for ON/OFF the Bluetooth only.
- Bluetooth coverage distance between 10M-15M in an open area.
- XT-160AMP Limited to connect only one Mobile using Bluetooth at the same time .
- If someone is using the Bluetooth and you do not know him, then you can Discharge (Dismissed) him from using the bluetooth by long pressing the BT button turn OFF/ON in the remote control.
- Wireless Bluetooth name is XT-160AMP,If the connection between both XT-160AMP and your Mobile disconnected for any reason, the connection will not back automatically and you should reconnect them back again.
- If you do not need anyone to connect to Bluetooth , Press BT button to turn OFF Bluetooth in the remote control.

Reset Amplifier :
Long press the (Power) button for 2 Seconds in the Remote control will restore
factory Settings as below :
- Reset device volume to Level 15 (15/32)

- Reset and open BT, AUX, MIC channels (same as BT ON\AUX ON\MIC ON)
- Mic PAIR will not be lost.
- Sound Broadcast the “amplifier reset” prompt tone
UHF Hand Mic ( MIC-02 ) XT-160AMP Support Max 2 Mic A+B Channels
- Press 2-3 Second the Power button to turn the Mic ON/OFF .
- Mic screen display : battery status , Working Channel and transmitting status.
- When the display is ON , short pressing the Power key will Mute/Unmute the Mic. transmitting status indicator will go OFF & ON .
- The Mic screen will go to sleep mode in 5 second , only Channel icon will be their the Mic will keep working , short press the Power button will wake up the screen again.
- Hand MIC-02 use 40 frequency points : A: 790MHz ~ 830MHz & B : 900MHz ~ 940MHz , each frequency point move 1MHz in the screen by pressing vol+/vol- button , adjust the channel only when there is interference.
- A total of 10 levels of volume are supported in the UHF microphones , volume level is displayed in the LCD.
- One short press the SET key to switch between A/B channels.
- Long press the SET key for 2-3 seconds will take the microphone to the PAIR mode with the Amplifier XT-160AMP.
- Distance between Amplifier and Mic is Not more than 30M.
Pairing Steps:
- When the device is powered on, long press the MIC button in the remote control for 2 seconds, and the Amplifier will play Sound the “Mic ready for pairing” prompt tone. The Mic Pairing is limited to Max 1 minute. repeat this step if you did not catch the 1 minute.
- Long press the microphone SET key 2 seconds for pairing. If the pairing is successful , the Amplifier will play the sound “Mic paired successfully”. If not, press the microphone SET key and try again.
- Repeat Step 2 to PAIR the second Mic. using B or A channels.
Please complete the above paired operations within 1 minute. If UHF microphone is not paired for more than 1 minute, the device will not announce “mic paired successfully” Please complete the above paired operations within 1 minute. UHF Clip microphone instructions ( MIC-03 )
Note : To avoid howling or strong echo sound between Clip Mic and the Amplifier please Clip Mic must be at least 6M away from the Amplifier when using it.
- The Microphone pickup is inserted into the Microphone interface.
- Turn the POWER/VOL knob to turn on the UHF microphone and adjust the microphone volume. The POWER LED and display light up.
- UHF microphone display screen displays microphone battery power, working channel.
- If the UHF microphone display screen does not operate within 5 seconds, it will automatically turn off. Moving the sound volume switch/Power will wake up the screen displayed again.
- UHF microphones are set with 40 frequency points, A: 790MHz ~ 830MHz, B: 900MHz ~ 940MHz, each frequency point interval is 1MHz. When the display is on, press CH+/CH- button to adjust the UHF microphone working channel – usually adjust the channel when there is interference.
- A total of 10 levels of volume are set for UHF microphones, rotating VOL adjusts the microphone volume and displays the volume level on the display.
- Hold down the CH- key for 2 seconds to switch the A/B channel of the microphone. The setting takes effect after that the microphone is restarted.
- Hold down the CH+ key for 2 seconds to control the microphone to enter the pairing mode,and then pair the microphone with the XT-160AMP for the pairing mode within 5 seconds.
- Distance between Amplifier and Mic is Not more than 30M.
Important Questions
Can I connect ( PAIR ) One Mic into two Amplifiers ?
Yes you can , Just do the Pair to the two Amplifiers with the Mic at the same
time , meaning Press the Mic button for the two amplifiers to get into the
Pair Mode both during the first 60sec(1Min).then do the Mic PAIR .
Some of my remote control buttons not working well?
Do the Pair step again for the Remote Control .
Can I Play Music from my Mobile to Multiple XonTel Amplifiers at the same
time?
Yes you can , but Unfortunately this feature is working only with all Android
Mobiles , while Apple Company limited this feature ( Audio Sharing ) for only
their headphones and earbuds.
USB upgrading firmware steps:
Put the firmware on the USB flash drive, plug the USB flash drive to USB line,
and then connect the XT-160AMP Upgrading port, Prompt tone: “Upgrading
firmware, pls wait’’ will be played, and when it is done, broadcast: Firmware
upgrading completed. If fail, will broadcast: Firmware upgrade failed.
Note : you must use any MP3 file inside same USB Flash along with the FW
file
