WiFi Smart Home Sensors – Light Switch

The WiFi Smart Home Sensors Light Switch is a smart home device that allows you to control the lights in your home through the Tuya Smart App. It is a WiFi-enabled switch that can be controlled remotely through the app and can also be used with voice control devices such as Alexa and Google Home. The switch is designed to work with LED lights and has an LED light indicator to show its status.

• LED State:
  • Indicator flashes quickly: Device Status Smart Wi-Fi AP mode Triggered
  • Indicator flashes slowly: Sleeping mode
  • LED will rapidly blink, and OFF after scheduled time
  • Indicator OFF
  • Indicator lights up for 4s and after 2 seconds lights off, device goes into configuration mode

Product How to Reset?

You can reset the Light Switch by following these steps:

1. Press the reset button for 6 seconds until the indicator flashes rapidly. Then, the device turns to smart WiFi mode.
2. Press the reset button again for 6 seconds until the indicator flashes slowly. The device turns to AP mode.

Product Usage Instructions

Follow the below steps to use the Light Switch:

1. Download the Tuya Smart App from the App Store or Google Play to your mobile phone.
2. Launch the Tuya Smart App and register if you are a new user, or log in if you already have an account.
3. Power on the Light Switch and ensure it is in Smart WiFi mode.
4. Select the “+” symbol on the top right-hand corner of the app to add a new device.
5. Select your product type and follow the instructions provided by the app to connect the Light Switch to your WiFi network.
6. If the connection fails, try using AP Mode. Select AP Mode on the Add Device page and follow the instructions provided by the app.
7. Once connected, you can control your lights using the app or voice control devices such as Alexa and Google Home.

• Working status: on/off
• All on or All off: press the All open or All close Timing switch, can be timed single or multiple switch, and can set repeat cycle (30s delay)
• Linkage alarm setting: Connect two sensors via scene setting
• Device sharing: Allow others to control the device
• Push notification: Open/Close push notification
• Remove device: Restore default settings; Delete and add the device again to clear the record by APP

Get Started with Tuya Smart App

Download APP

• Download the “Smart life” app from APP Store or Google Play to your mobile.

Register and Login

• Launch the “Smart life” app.
• To register,enter your mobile phone number or email address,create a password ,then login to the app.
• Login if you have an account already.

Add Device

• Power on the smart sensor which default’s mode is Smart WiFi mode.
• Select the “+” symbol on the top right-hand corner.
• Select your product type and follow the instructions of the app.
• If the connecting fails,try using AP Mode
• On the “Add device” page select “AP Mode” on the top right-hand corner and follow the instructions of the app.
• Finally,have fun!
