The Bush Stereo Bluetooth Speaker (model SP-925) is a portable speaker that allows you to enjoy music wirelessly through Bluetooth connectivity. Product Usage Instructions

Follow these steps to use your Bush Stereo Bluetooth Speaker:

1. Inside the packaging, you will find the Bluetooth speaker, USB charging cable, instruction manual, and warranty card.
2. Read the instruction manual carefully to understand the features, operations, and safe installation and operation guidelines.
3. To charge the speaker, keep the POWER SWITCH (4) in the off position.
4. Connect the micro USB plug of the provided USB cable to the USB charging port (5) of the speaker.
5. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a 5Vdc USB output of a computer or USB charger.
6. The red light next to the USB port (5) will light up to indicate the charging status. It will turn off when the battery is fully charged.
7. It is recommended to fully charge the speaker before use. Use a 5V/1A USB charger or computer for charging. It takes approximately 3 hours to charge the battery if it is completely exhausted.
8. To power up and pair Bluetooth devices, switch on the POWER switch (4). The blue light next to the USB port (6) will flash, indicating that Bluetooth mode is activated.
9. Turn on the Bluetooth pairing mode on your smartphone or computer and select “SP-925” from the pairing page.
10. The blue light will remain steady when the speaker is successfully paired. You will hear a sound signal indicating the pairing is complete.
11. To play music, press the PLAY/PAUSE/PHONE button (2) once. Press it again to pause the music.
12. Use the PREVIOUS SONG/VOL- button (1) to play the previous song or lower the sound volume. Hold the button to decrease the volume continuously.
13. Use the NEXT SONG/VOL+ button (3) to play the next song or increase the sound volume. Hold the button to increase the volume continuously. A sound signal will be played when the volume reaches its maximum level.
14. If a phone call comes in, a sound signal will be played. Press the PLAY/PAUSE/PHONE button (2) to answer the call hands-free.

Using your Bush Splashproof Speaker

Getting start

1. The Bluetooth speaker has a built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery.
2. Keep POWER SWITCH (4) at the off position.
3. Connect the micro USB plug of the provided USB cable to the USB charging port (5) of the Bluetooth speaker, and connect the other end to a 5Vdc USB output of the computer or USB charger. (Fig. 1)
4. The red light next to USB port (5) will light up to indicate the charging status. The red light will turn off when the battery is fully charged. (Fig. 2)
5. It is highly recommended to fully charge the Bluetooth speaker before use.

Use 5V/1A USB charger or computer to charge the Bluetooth speaker. It will take around 3 hours if the battery is exhausted.

Power up & pair Bluetooth
POWER switch (4)

1. Switch on the power by pushing POWER switch (4) downward. The blue light next to the USB port (6) is flashing. Bluetooth mode is entered automatically. If no device has been paired, it will start pairing. (Fig. 3) A sound signal is played.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth pairing mode of your smartphone or computer. Inside the paring page, select SP-925. The blue light will be steady if the speaker is paired up. A sound signal will be played also.

It is ready to play music now.

Play Music
PLAY/PAUSE/PHONE button (2)

1. Press the PLAY button (2) to play music. Press once again to pause. (Fig. 4) PREVIOUS SONG/VOL- button (1)
2. Press the PREVIOUS SONG button (1) once to play the previous song or hold to lower the sound volume. (Fig. 5) NEXT SONG/VOL+ button (3)
3. Press the NEXT SONG button (3) once to play the next song or hold to raise up the sound volume. (Fig. 6) A sound signal will be played when the volume reaches its maximum level.

Handfree phone answering

PLAY/PAUSE/PHONE button (2)

1. When a phone call is coming, a sound signal will be played. Press PHONE button (2) once to pick up the call. (Fig. 7)
2. Talk to your smartphone.
3. When the call is finished, press PHONE button (2) once again to hang up the call.

Drop a phone call
PLAY/PAUSE/PHONE button (2)

1. When a phone call is coming, but you don’t want to pick up, press and hold
   PHONE button (2) for 1 second to drop the call. (Fig. 8)

Redial last call

PLAY/PAUSE/PHONE button (2)

1. Press twice continuously the PHONE button (2) to redial the last call. (Fig. 9)

AUX input
AUX input (7)
Plug in the 3.5mm plug of an audio cable into the AUX input (7). The Bluetooth speaker will detect it and turn to Aux mode automatically. (Fig. 10)Play music as usual.

Powering off
POWER button (4)
Pull up the POWER switch (4) to power off the Bluetooth speaker. The blue light next to the POWER button will be off. (Fig. 11).

Troubleshooting

If the unit cannot be turned on.

• Try to charge the Bluetooth speaker with the provided USB cable with a 5V charger until the red light next to the USB port is off.
• If the unit cannot connect to a smartphone.
• Turn off the unit and turn it on again. Try again to connect with your smartphone. If still cannot, delete the registered SP-925 from the Bluetooth device list and pair it again.
• Music is intermittent on and off.
• If it is connected by Bluetooth, check whether the unit is too far away from your smartphone.
• If it is connected by 3.5mm jack, check whether the connection is loose.
• Turn the plug left or right for half a circle, or take it off and plug in again.
