Product Usage Instructions
To use the GROWATT THOR Smart EV Charger, please follow the steps below:
- Ensure the input voltage is 400V AC and the input frequency is 50/60Hz.
- Connect the charging interface type, IEC 62196-2, Type 2, to your electric vehicle.
- Make sure the appropriate protection measures are in place, including over-voltage protection, under-voltage protection, over-load protection, short circuit protection, earth leakage protection, over-temp protection, and lightning protection.
- Verify that the THOR model you have supports the desired output power and current. For THOR 11AS-P, the max output power is 11KW with a max output current of 16A. For THOR 22AS-P, the max output power is 22KW with a max output current of 32A.
- If available, choose from the multiple work modes (Fast/PV Linkage/Off-peak/Load balancing) that suit your charging needs.
- If desired, connect to Ethernet/WIFI/4G for additional functionality.
- Monitor the charging process using the LCD display and LED indicator lights.
- In case of an emergency, use the emergency stop button to halt the charging process.
- Follow any additional instructions provided for specific features or accessories such as MID meter or communication protocol.
- For installation, choose between floor or wall mounting based on your preference and requirements.
