Cleaning

Operation

WARNINGS

Before use of the product, please read this instructions manual and keep it for future reference. The original document was prepared in Hungarian language.
This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years or above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have been given instructions concerning the use of the appliance and understand the hazards involved.
Children may not play with the appliance. Children may perform the cleaning or user maintenance of the appliance subject to supervision. After removal of the packaging, inspect the product for possible damage during shipment. Keep the packaging away from children if it contains plastic bags or other potentially hazardous items.
Never look directly into the LED light!
Protect the device from dust, humidity, liquids, moisture, frost and shocks, as well as from direct heat and sunlight.
Only for use under dry, indoor conditions.
The product contains magnets; do not place objects sensitive to magnetic fields (such as credit cards, cassettes, compasses, etc.) in their proximity.
This product is for household use, it is not intended for industrial-commercial applications.
After the useful life of the product, it is to be considered as hazardous waste. Dispose of the product according to local legislation.

CLEANING

OPERATION

Its infrared (PIR) sensor switches the lamp on when motion is detected, and it switches off after a delay when the motion is completed. In a bright environment, it does not switch on for motion. Ideal for use next to stairs, on pathways, in children’s rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms. No glare, provides a comfortable soft light.

COMMISSIONING

Remove the back cover by turning it counterclockwise until you hear a click. The hanging tab helps you in this. Insert three AAA (1.5V) long-life alkaline batteries, according to the polarity specified. Replace the battery cover, and the lamp is ready to use (in dark environments). If it later stops working properly, replace the batteries immediately. Remove the batteries if you are not going to use them for a long period of time

ATTENTION: INCORRECT BATTERY REPLACEMENT CAN CAUSE EXPLOSION HAZARD. CAN ONLY BE REPLACED WITH AN IDENTICAL MODEL OR A SUITABLE REPLACEMENT. DO NOT EXPOSE THE BATTERY TO DIRECT HEAT OR SUN RADIATION AND DO NOT THROW IT INTO FIRE! IF ANY FLUIDS HAVE LEAKED FROM THE BATTERY, CLEAN THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT WITH A DRY CLOTH AND WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES.

KEEP BATTERIES AWAY FROM THE REACH OF CHILDREN. IT IS FORBIDDEN TO OPEN, BURN, SHORT CIRCUIT AND CHARGE THE BATTERY! EXPLOSION HAZARD! BATTERY REPLACEMENT MUST BE PERFORMED BY AN ADULT. DO NOT MIX BATTERIES OF DIFFERENT MAKES AND/OR CHARGING LEVELS. DO NOT USE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES INSTEAD OF BATTERIES! DO NOT WELD OR SOLDER DIRECTLY TO THE BATTERY! STORE UNUSED BATTERIES IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING AND AVOID CONTACT WITH METAL OBJECTS!

INSTALLATION

The lamp is circular, and therefore it can provide lighting in several directions and can be placed in different aesthetic positions on a wall, furniture, refrigerator or elsewhere.
You can mount it directly on a magnetic surface using the magnet built into the backplate.
You can stick the metal sheet (remove the anti-scratch film if it has been applied) onto a non-magnetic surface and place the lamp on it.
It provides a stable mounting when screwed into place using the holes on the back. Use screws and fittings appropriate to the surface (wall) material. If you don’t want to mount it, you can hang it up.

USE

The lamp switches on when it detects motion in low-light environments. For maximum sensitivity, position it in a way that the direction of movement is parallel to the front of the device.
The lamp will switch off after about 15–20 seconds following the end of the motion. There is no on/off switch, remove the batteries if you do not want it to operate. Do not push the PIR sensor, it is not a push button!
If the temperature difference between the moving person and the ambient temperature is small (e.g. in hot summer), the range can be significantly reduced. Incorrect switch on can be caused by wind, warm air flow or nearby hot appliances.

DISPOSAL

Waste equipment must be collected and disposed separately from household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising.

DISPOSING OF ALKALINE AND RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES

Batteries, whether alkaline or rechargeable, must not be handled together with regular household waste. It is the legal obligation of the product’s user to dispose of batteries at a nearby collection center or at a retail shop. This ensures that the batteries are ultimately neutralized in an environment- friendly way.
