OPERATION
Before use:
If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended that you
clean your kettle before use by boiling the maximum capacity of water once and
then discarding the water twice.
Use:
- Place the base on a solid and level surface. If the appliance switches off before the water boils, it means descaling is required.
- You can use standard descaling agents, provided that appropriate instructions are followed. Do not fill the kettle up to the top mark to prevent spillage, if the descaling agent causes water foaming.
- To thoroughly remove any deposits after descaling, boil clean water several times, then rinse the kettle with clean water.
- Pour the required amount of clean water into the kettle. When the appliance is being used (or immediately after use), do not touch any part of the kettle except the handle, and make sure the lid is properly closed. The amount of water can be checked on the level indicator inside the kettle. Always pay attention to the minimum and maximum levels, and make sure the lid is properly and firmly closed.
- Place the kettle on the base, so that the bottom part of the kettle fits closely to the base.
- Connect the power plug to an electrical outlet.
- The unit will emit an audible signal; the display screen will flash ‘C’ twice and display the current water temperature in Celsius.
- In the standby state, the device will shut down all displays if there is no operation within three minutes. The time limit of heat preservation is two hours.
- It is now safe to pour hot water into another vessel through the outlet pout.
- The kettle is equipped with an automatic safety switch. To prevent damage in case of improper use or if the appliance is switched on by accident without water or if the water evaporates – then the automatic safety switch automatically turns off the heating element.
- In this case, immediately pull out the power plug from the wall outlet and refill the kettle only after sufficient time for it to cool down, i.e. after approximately 15-20 minutes.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
Temperature selection:
- The range of heating temperature selection is 40-100°C.
- The range of heat preservation temperature is 40-90°C.
Heating:
- While switching on, if the water temperature is greater than the set temperature, the device will stop heating and automatically enter the heat preservation state.
- If the water temperature rises to a set temperature, the device will stop heating and automatically enter the heat preservation state.
Heat preservation:
- When water is boiling and enters the heat preservation state, the device will start timing of heat preservation;
- During heat preservation, the error between display temperature and actual temperature is required to be controlled within ±5°C;
- When (set temperature – 10) ≤ water temperature ≤ (set temperature – 2), the device will launch adjustable power heating (if the highest temperature is 1°C higher than the set temperature during the previous heat preservation, the adjustable power ratio is 3/35; in other cases, the ratio is 4/25); When water temperature > (set temperature – 10), the adjustable power ratio is 8/25.
Mode selection:
- Button : Heat water to set temperature and automatically enter the heat preservation state;
- Button : Heat water to 100°C (boiling).
Temperature selection/ON-OFF:
- Button : Cyclical selection of set temperature: 40-50-60-70-80-90°C;
- Button : Enter the standby state by pressing it from the shutdown state, while enter the shutdown state by pressing it from the standby/operation state.
Note:
- When the power is on, the default temperature target is 100°C or the temperature target during the operation in the previous time.
- In the non-temperature setting state, press to display the current temperature target and enter the temperature setting state.
Power-on display:
When the power is on, the Nixie tube is fully bright for around 0.5 seconds
and the device enters the standby state.
Temperature display:
- The device displays real-time water temperature in standby/heating state;
- When temperature selection/or operation begins, the light always-on displays the set temperature for about one second, but the device will display the current temperature without any operation while the light flickers again for about 1.5 seconds;
- In the heat preservation state, it displays the set temperature (if the water temperature is lower than or equal to the set temperature – 5°C, it displays real-time water temperature);
- No temperature display in the power-off state.
Working status indication:
- The light will be always on when the button is pressed, and will be out after the set temperature displays;
- The light will be always on when water is heated to set temperature and enter the heat preservation mode;
- The light will be always on when water is heated to the boiling mode;
- The light will flicker in the standby state and will be always on in the working state.

- With a click on buttons, there will be a short sound;
- When heating and heat preservation finish, there will be two long sounds.
Note:
- With a click on the shutdown button, there will be a long sound.
- In the non-temperature setting state, clicking the button will make no sound.
Kettle lift memory:
- If the kettle body leaves the base but is put back on the base within 30 seconds, the electric kettle status will be in line with that before it is lifted; otherwise, it will be in the standby state.
Dry burning protection:
- After dry burning, the dry burning piece of the temperature controller will pop up and conduct automatic protection.
Time-limited protection:
- If the boiling time is greater than or equal to about 15 minutes, the operation will be comprehensively finished;
- If the temperature does not rise for more than three minutes during water boiling, the device will enter the shutdown state.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning:
Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet and cool it down
completely before cleaning.
-
Never immerse the kettle, power cord, or power base in water, or allow moisture to contact with these parts.
-
Wipe the appearance of the body with a damp cloth or cleaner, never use a poisonous cleaner.
-
Remember to clean the filter at intervals. For easier cleaning, detach the filter by pressing down the tab of the filter inside the kettle and then replace it after cleaning.
CAUTION: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden, or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the kettle to prevent gloss loss. -
When not used or stored, the power cord may be wind under the bottom of the kettle.
Removal of mineral deposits:
Your kettle should be periodically descaled as the mineral deposits in tap
water may form a scale on the bottom of the kettle so as to make the operation
less efficient. You can use the commercially available descaler and follow the
instructions on the package of descaler. Alternatively, you may follow the
below instructions using the white vinegar.
- Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar, then add water to the amount so as to cover the bottom of the kettle completely. Leave the solution in the kettle overnight.
- Then discard the mixture in the kettle, fill the kettle with clean water to the maximum position, boil, and then discard the water. Repeat several times until the odor of vinegar has been flushed away. Any stains remaining inside the spout can be removed by rubbing with a damp cloth.
