Product Usage Instructions

1. Read the instruction manual carefully before use and retain it for later reference.
2. Cleaning:
   • Use a soft, dry cleaning cloth to clean the product.
   • For heavy dirt, use a cloth dampened with water.
   • Avoid using aggressive cleaning agents.
   • The product requires no maintenance.
3. Keep the product out of the reach of children as it is not a toy.
4. Operation:
   • The lamp’s infrared (PIR) sensor switches it on when motion is detected.
   • It automatically switches off after a delay when the motion is completed.
   • In a bright environment, it does not switch on for motion.
   • It is ideal for use next to stairs, on pathways, in children’s rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms.
   • It can also be used in a wardrobe or kitchen cupboard.
   • The slide switch has three functions:
   • OFF: Turns the lamp off.
   • AUTO: Activates motion detection mode.
   • HE: Keeps the lamp continuously lit.
5. Installation:
   • The lamp can be placed in different positions on the wall, furniture, refrigerator, or elsewhere.
   • It can be mounted directly on a magnetic surface using the built-in magnet on the backplate.
   • If the surface is non-magnetic, stick the provided metal sheet onto it (after removing any anti-scratch film) and place the lamp on it.

CLEANING

OPERATION

COMMISSIONING

Remove the battery compartment cover. Insert four AAA (1.5V) long-life alkaline batteries, according to the polarity specified. Replace the battery cover, and the lamp is ready to use. If it later stops working properly, replace the batteries immediately. Remove the batteries if you are not going to use them for a long period of time. If a battery is stuck, it may be necessary to gently tap the casing.

ATTENTION:  INCORRECT BATTERY REPLACEMENT CAN CAUSE EXPLOSION HAZARD. CAN ONLY BE REPLACED WITH AN IDENTICAL MODEL OR A SUITABLE REPLACEMENT. DO NOT EXPOSE THE BATTERY TO DIRECT HEAT OR SUN RADIATION AND DO NOT THROW IT INTO FIRE! IF ANY FLUIDS HAVE LEAKED FROM THE BATTERY, CLEAN THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT WITH A DRY CLOTH WEARING PROTECTIVE GLOVES.

KEEP BATTERIES AWAY FROM THE REACH OF CHILDREN. IT IS FORBIDDEN TO OPEN, BURN, SHORT CIRCUIT AND CHARGE THE BATTERY! EXPLOSION HAZARD! BATTERY REPLACEMENT MUST BE PERFORMED BY AN ADULT. DO NOT MIX BATTERIES OF DIFFERENT MAKES AND/OR CHARGING LEVELS. DO NOT USE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES INSTEAD OF BATTERIES! DO NOT WELD OR SOLDER DIRECTLY TO THE BATTERY! STORE UNUSED BATTERIES IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING AND AVOID CONTACT WITH METAL OBJECTS!

INSTALLATION

• The lamp can be placed in different positions on the wall, furniture, refrigerator or elsewhere.
• You can mount it directly on a magnetic surface using the magnet built into the backplate.
• You can stick the metal sheet (remove the anti-scratch film if it has been applied) onto a non-magnetic surface and place the lamp on it.

USE

The lamp switches on when it detects motion in low-light environments. For maximum sensitivity, position it in a way that the direction of movement is parallel to the front of the device. It will switch off after about 20 seconds following the end of the motion. For automatic operation, the slide switch must be set to AUTO. If you need continuous lighting, select the ON mode, if you want to switch it off, select the OFF position. Do not push the PIR sensor, it is not a push button! If the temperature difference between the moving person and the ambient temperature is small (e.g. in hot summer), the range can be significantly reduced. Incorrect switch on can be caused by wind, warm air flow or nearby hot appliances.

Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising.

DISPOSING OF ALKALINE AND RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES

Batteries, whether alkaline or rechargeable, must not be handled together with regular household waste. It is the legal obligation of the product’s user to dispose of batteries at a nearby collection center or at a retail shop. This ensures that the batteries are ultimately neutralized in an environment- friendly way.
