Product Information

The product is a Grab-N-Go low-profile case with front and rear loading. It is available in two models: KGL-RM-(40,60)-S and KGL-RM-(40,60)-R. The case features a manual shutter for easy access. It is compliant with national energy standards and is self-contained.
The KGL-RM-40-S model has an overall length of 41 inches and a volume of 12.98 cubic feet in the front. It operates on 115 volts and has a compressor with a horsepower of 5/8. The total amps are 16.8, and it weighs 419 lbs without the crate.

The KGL-RM-60-S model has an overall length of 60.6 inches and a volume of 19.85 cubic feet in the front. It operates on 115 volts and has a compressor with a horsepower of 3/4. The total amps are 25, and it weighs 585 lbs without the crate.
The KGL-RM-40-R model has an overall length of 41 inches and operates on 115 volts. The total amps are 0.9, and it weighs 361 lbs without the crate.
The KGL-RM-60-R model has an overall length of 60.6 inches and operates on 115 volts. The total amps are 1.4, and it weighs 515 lbs without the crate.

The product comes with various standard features such as a silver colored PVC coated steel front panel with a blue decal, CFC-free injected foam insulation, PVC-coated steel gray interior, black steel kick plate, foamed polystyrene black end panels, tempered side glass, LED lighting in canopy and under shelves, a digital controller for temperature and defrost regulation, a slide- out condensing unit (for self-contained units), a removable condensate evaporating pan for easy cleaning, product stops on all shelves, height- adjustable shelves that can be tilted, and leveling feet.

Optional features include a stainless steel exterior and/or interior, other color options, additional shelves, price tag molding, product dividers, a condensate evaporating pan for remote cases, adjustable stainless steel legs, and a KGL-RM caster kit. The product comes with a one-year warranty on parts and labor, with an additional four years on the compressor (part only).

Product Usage Instructions

Ensure that the product is placed on a level surface for proper functioning.
If the model has a manual shutter, use the locking back doors for rear loading. Pull down the shutter manually to access the contents of the case.
If the model has an electric shutter, use the key-operated electric shutter to open and close the case.
To adjust the temperature, use the digital controller provided. Follow the instructions in the user manual to set the desired temperature.
The LED lighting in the canopy and under shelves provides illumination for better visibility. If additional lighting is required, contact our sales department for more information.
If cleaning is required, remove the condensate evaporating pan and clean it thoroughly. Follow the instructions in the user manual for proper cleaning and maintenance.
If any optional features are installed, refer to their respective user manuals or instructions for usage guidelines.

NOTE
These cases are engineered to operate in locations not exceeding 75°F and 55% R.H. These cases are designed to operate using R452a refrigerant. Alternate refrigerants are available by special order. O.A. length includes (2) ends at 1-1/2” each. Ventilation grills at the front and back cannot be blocked. B.T.U.’s are calculated at 14°F (evaporator) and 90°F (ambient). Remote cases are provided with an expansion valve and a liquid solenoid for the pump down cycle. In remote cases, if no floor drain is provided, a condensate evaporating pan must be ordered and 6.7 amps added to the amp load. Remote cases must be hard-wired – no plugs.
