We thank you for your wise choice and for a purchase of this timberk coffee maker. It will serve you for a long time.

1. IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please, read this manual before using the device. This manual contains important information regarding your safety, as well as recommendations concerning the correct use and maintenance of this appliance. Keep this manual together with a warranty card, cash register receipt and, if possible, carton and packaging material. This instruction manual describes different types of this device. The device you purchased may differ slightly from the description in the manual, which does not affect the methods of use and operation. The manufacturer reserves the right to make minor changes to the device without additional notice which is not fundamentally affect its safety, performance and functionality. There may be some misprints in text and digital notations in the present manual.

Important safeguards and descriptions contained in this manual do not include all possible situations that you may experience using the device. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage of the appliance or its parts during transportation, as a result of incorrect installation or voltage fluctuations, as well as when any part of the appliance has been changed or modified.

NOTE
There is a label on the device which has all the necessary technical data and other useful information about the device. Use the appliance only for the purpose specified in this manual.

2. SAFEGUARDS

When using this device, a number of safety precautions must be observed. Improper operation by ignoring safety precautions can result in damage to the health of the user and other people, as well as damage to their property.

1. Please read these operating instructions carefully before connecting your device to the power supply, in order to avoid damage due to incorrect use.
2. Before switching on the appliance for the first time please check if the technical specifications indicated on the unit correspond to the mains parameters.
3. Incorrect operation and improper handling can lead to malfunction of the appliance and injuries to the user.
4. The appliance is intended for use only in domestic aims. The unit is not intended for industrial and commercial use, and also for use in:

kitchen area for the stuff of shops, offices and the other industrial places farm houses hotels, motels, rest homes and other similar places by residents.

5. Always unplug the appliance from the power supply when not in use.
6. Do not immerse the unit, cord or plug in water or other liquids. If it has happened, remove the plug from the wall socket immediately and have the unit checked by an expert before using it again.
7. The appliance is not intended for use for physically, sensory or mental disabled person (including children) or for person with lack of life experience or knowledge, if only they are under supervision or have been instructed about the use of the unit by responsible person.
8. Children must be under control in order not to be allowed to play with the appliance.
9. In case of power cord is damaged, its replacement should be done by the manufacture or service department or the other high-skill person to avoid any danger.
10. Ensure that the cord does not hang over sharp edges and keep it away from hot surfaces.
11. To disconnect the appliance from the power supply pull it out by the plug only, not by the cord.
12. Place the appliance on a dry stable non-hot surface, away from hot objects (e.g. hotplates); do not place it under curtains and shelves.
13. Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use.
14. Do not touch hot surface.
15. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to users.
16. For making coffee use only cold water.
17. Do not attempt to repair, adjust or replace parts in the appliance. Repair the malfunctioning appliance in the nearest service center.
18. ATTENTION: Reservoir aperture must not be open during work of the appliance.
19. Do not use outdoors or in high temperature conditions.
20. Do not allow liquid to be found on the power cord plug.
21. If the product has been exposed to temperatures below 0ºC for some time it should be kept at room temperature for at least 2 hours before turning it on.
22. The manufacturer reserves the right to introduce minor changes into the product design without prior notice, unless such changes influence significantly the product safety, performance, and functions.
23. Manufacturing date is indicated on the unit and/or on packing as well as in accompanying documents in the following format XX.XXXX where first two figures XX is the month of production, and following four figures XXXX is the year of production.
24. Do not use other attachments than those supplied.
25. The appliance is not designed for use with external timer or separate remote control system.

3. APPOINTMENT OF THE DEVICE

This appliance should be used for making coffee drinks. Types of coffee drinks: espresso, cappuccino, latte.

7. BEGINNING

When using the machine for the first time or after a long downtime, follow these steps to use the machine correctly:
Fill the tank with clean water up to the MAX mark.
Press the button to turn on the coffee maker.
After preheating is complete, press the coffee making button for 1 cup .
Repeat the operation 2-3 times to flush the coffee filter.

8. OPERATION OF THE DEVICE

Remove the water tank from the appliance and fill it with water. The water level in the tank should be between the MAX and MIN marks.
Do not add warm or hot water to the tank! The water temperature should not exceed 40 oC.
Always disconnect the appliance from the mains while filling it with water.
Do not turn on the coffee maker without water.
Do not remove the tank during operation.
Using a measuring spoon, pour the required amount of ground coffee into the filter and tamp it with a seal located at the other end of the spoon.
Remove coffee residue from the edges of the horn filter.
Place the filter horn in the coffee maker opposite the label .
Slowly turn the horn handle to the right until the handle matches the symbol on the device.
Plug the power cord into an outlet.
During brewing, while water under steam pressure passes through the ground coffee, do not remove the filter horn.
Press the button on the control panel to turn on the device.
The coffee making button for 1 cup will flash, which means the water heating process. At the end of the heating time, the button will stop flashing.
The indicator lights continuously during operation of the device.
The device is equipped with an auto-off function 25 minutes after the end of use.

∙ After heating is complete, press the coffee button for 1 cup . ∙ During the preparation of a coffee drink, the indicator of the portion you have selected will light up.

STEAMER

When the indicator light is on, on the control panel, pour into a separate cup the amount of milk necessary for making foam, but not more than half of the cup. The cup should be large enough, because after the completion of the milk whipping cycle, the internal volume of milk will increase.
Press the button. Wait until the steam supply indicator stops flashing, this means the end of warming up.
Place the cup under the steamer.
Do not use the steamer and turn on the steam generation mode without immersing the steamer in milk or water, steam coming out of the steamer may burn your hand.
Turn the mode switch located on the side of the device from position to position .
The steamer will start to emit steam and the outgoing steam will start to foam the milk. To improve the effect, move the cup up and down. Use only chilled milk. ∙ If it is necessary to stop the process of steam formation (if you understand that the temperature of the milk is acceptable for you, and the milk foam is quite lush), turn the mode switch from position to position .
In order to completely exit the steam generation mode, turn the mode switch from position to position and press the button on the control panel.
It is recommended to wipe the steamer with a damp cloth to remove milk residues after each cooking cycle so that the milk does not dry out inside.

Attention! Not for commercial use. Do not place directly on an open flame, burners and heating elements.

9. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning. ∙ Allow the coffee maker to cool completely and wipe the outer surfaces with a dry soft cloth. Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasive substances.
Wash all removable parts with hot water with dish detergent, rinse thoroughly and wipe them dry before installing them in place.

10. DESCALING

Regularly descale the coffee maker.
To descale, use 2-3% citric acid solution or special products that can be purchased at the store and strictly follow the instructions on the package.
Clean at least once every 2-3 months, and when using “hard” water more often. ∙ Fill the tank with water or descaling agent no higher than the maximum mark. ∙ Install the horn as described in the instructions above.
Place one container under the coffee serving holes, the other under the steamer. ∙ Press the button on the control panel to turn on the device, select a portion for 1 cup , the solution will start flowing from the horn into the mug during the previously set time. The cycle should be repeated 2-3 times.
To clean the steamer: remove the handle from the steamer and place a suitable container under it. Wait until the foaming readiness indicator lights up, then turn on the steam supply for about 2 minutes. Then turn off the steam supply and turn off the coffee maker. Let the coffee maker cool down for about 10 to 15 minutes.

11. STORAGE

Make sure that the appliance is disconnected from the mains and completely cooled down.
Follow all the requirements of the CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE section.
Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.

12. UTILIZATION RULES

The symbol on the unit, packing materials and/or documentations means used electrical and electronic units should not be toss in the garbage with ordinary household garbage. These units should be pass to special receiving point.

For additional information about actual system of the garbage collection, address to the local authority.

Valid utilization will help to save valuable resources and avoid negative work on the public health and environment which happens with incorrect using garbage

After the lifetime of the device expires, it should be recycled in compliance with the laws, rules and methods in region of recycling. Detailed information about the recycling of the device, you can receive from a representative of the local authorities, after providing full information about the device. The manufacturer and authorized organization of the manufacturer do not carry responsibility for the fulfillment by the Buyer of the requirements of legislation on utilization and methods of utilization of the device selected by the Buyer. The lifetime of the device is indicated in the warranty card. Warranty period for the device and warranty terms are specified in the warranty card. The warranty card is an integral part of the documentation supplied with this unit. If there is no warranty card in the delivery set, ask for it from the Seller. The warranty card provided by the Seller must conform to the manufacturer’s form.

The manufacturer and the authorized organization of the manufacturer remove responsibility for any possible harm which can be caused to people, animals or property directly or indirectly, if this harm occurred as a result of noncompliance with the rules and operating conditions, installation of the device, intentional or reckless actions of the user- and / or third parties, as well as in situations caused by natural and / or anthropogenic accidents.
