LASER AO-HEADB18 Bluetooth Headphone

Product Information

The AO-HEADB18 is a wireless Bluetooth headphone with various features and functions. It has an LED indicator, a USB charging port, a microphone, and buttons for controlling playback, calls, and volume.

Product Usage Instructions

Charging the headset:

  1. On the right earcup, carefully plug the micro USB cable into the micro USB charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to either a computer USB port or to a USB-compatible car or wall charger.
  3. A solid red LED light will appear to indicate when the headphone is charging.
  4. When charging is complete, the LED light will turn off. Charging time is approximately 2 hours.

Turning the headset on or off:

  1. Press and hold the power button on the right side of the headphone for about 5 seconds.
  2. The headphone will emit a beep, and a blue LED light will indicate that the headphone is turning on.
  3. To turn the wireless Bluetooth headphone off, press and hold the power button again for 5 seconds until the LED light turns off.

Pairing and connecting the headset:

  1. Power on the wireless Bluetooth headphone (refer to the “Turning the headset on or off” section).
  2. The blue LED light will blink to indicate that the headphone is ready to pair with a new device.

Warranty Information:
If you encounter any defects with the product, please follow these steps:

  1. Step 1:
    Find your receipt which proves the date of purchase. If the date of purchase cannot be verified, your place of purchase or Laser will make an assessment based on the date of manufacture, the condition of the Laser Product, and the type of defect.

  2. Step 2a:
    Contact your place of purchase. They will assess the nature of the fault and repair, replace, or refund the product according to their store refund or warranty policy.

Step 3:
Laser will issue you with a Return Authorisation (RA) number within 48 hours. When requested, send the defective product and a copy of your receipt. Laser will cover the cost of the return delivery.

Step 4:
Wait for Laser to contact you. Once they have received your defective product for inspection, they will inform you of their assessment within 7 days. They will let you know if you have a valid claim under the warranty and whether your product will be replaced or repaired, along with the estimated waiting time.

Note: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Charging the headset

Pairing and connecting the headset

  • Power on the wireless bluetooth headphone (refer to the “Turning the headset on or off” section). To pair the headphone with a new device, the blue LED light blink to indicate it is ready to be paired with your device.
  • On your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet or media player, navigate to the  Bluetooth settings menu, turn on the Bluetooth feature, and search for new devices.
  • After a few seconds you will see “AO-HEADB18” listed.
  • Tap this model to select it. Solid blue LED light indicate your device has successfully paired.
  • With your previously paired device’s Bluetooth turned on and in range, A O-HEADB18 headphone  will automatically reconnect to the last Bluetooth device it was connected to.

NOTE: If the headphone is not used within 10 minu tes,the headphones will automatically turn off to save battery.

Playing

  • Connect your device to the headphone via Bluetooth (See “Pairing and connecting the headset” section)
  • Open your favorite music app and press play.
  • Control the music, track & volume from your device, or control the music & volume from the touch screen(refer to the “touch function”. Press the Power button once to play/pause music & answer calls, press it twice to redial the last number called on your phone, and press & hold it to reject an incoming call.
  • All audio, including music, games, videos, and notifications will be routed through the headphone.

Touch Function

  • Press A area(refer to Product Diagram) to turn up the volume.
  • Press B area(refer to Product Diagram) to turn down the volume.
  • Press&Hold A area(refer to Product Diagram) to switch to next track.
  • Press&Hold B area(refer to Product Diagram) to switch to previous track.

NOTE: Press gesture and touching the correct area will offer you a fluent experience.

Troubleshooting

  • Music is not playing over Bluetooth
    • Recharge your wireless bluetooth headphone using the micro USB cable.
    • Make sure your Bluetooth device has A2DP profile. Check if both devices are paired and connected over Bluetooth. Restart the headphone to reconnect your Bluetooth device.
  • Bluetooth device will not reconnect with  the headphone
    • Navigate to your Bluetooth settings menu on your Bluetooth device, tap “AO-HEADB18 ” and select “Forget”. Now follow the steps to pair your device again. Or, press & hold the power button on the headphone (while powered on) to disconnect the headphones from any connected devices. Then follow the steps to reconnect your device.

Warranty Against Defects

  • Laser Corporation Pty Ltd (“Laser”) warrants your new product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months, from the date of purchase, provided that the product is used in accordance with accompanying recommendations or instructions where provided. this warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and to other rights and remedies of the consumer under a law in relation to the goods or services to which the warranty relates. Through a network of retailers and resellers,
  • Laser will provide you with your choice of a repair, exchange (where possible) or refund (within Dead on Arrival period) for this product if it becomes defective within the warranty period. This warranty will no longer apply where the defect is a result of alteration, accident, misuse, abuse, normal wear and tear, neglect or improper storage.
