RCD-N12DAB Network CD Receiver

Product Information:

The Network CD Receiver RCD-N12DAB is a versatile audio device
that allows you to enjoy high-quality music from various sources.
With built-in HEOS technology, it enables wireless streaming,
multi-room audio, and access to popular music streaming services.
The receiver also features DAB and FM radio capabilities, as well
as Bluetooth and Apple AirPlay connectivity.

Product Usage Instructions:

1. Connecting:

To set up the Network CD Receiver RCD-N12DAB, follow these
steps:

Connect the left and right speakers to the CEOL using speaker
cables.
Connect the power cord of the CEOL to a power outlet.

2. Connecting TV Audio (Optional):

If you want to connect the CEOL to your TV for audio playback,
follow these steps:

Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the TV port labeled ARC or
eARC. Note that the CEOL does not support eARC functionality, but
you can still connect it to an eARC port to use ARC
functionality.
Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on
the back of the CEOL.

3. Connecting to a Wired Network (Optional):

If you want to connect the CEOL to a wired network, follow these
steps:

Note: Do not connect an Ethernet cable if you are connecting the
CEOL to a wireless network.

Connect an Ethernet cable (not included) between the CEOL and
your router.

4. Completing CEOL Setup using the HEOS App:

To complete the setup of the built-in HEOS device using the HEOS
app, follow these steps:

Go to the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Amazon App Store and
search for “HEOS” to download and install the app.
Start the HEOS app and follow the instructions within the
app.
In the HEOS app, select the settings icon in the top-left
corner of the Music main menu to display the Settings menu.
Select “Add Device” in the Settings menu of the HEOS app and
follow the instructions.

5. Enjoying Your Music:

To enjoy internet radio, follow these steps:

Press “INTERNET RADIO” on the CEOL.
Select the station you want to play and press “ENTER”.
Select “Play Now” and press “ENTER”.

To enjoy music with Apple AirPlay, follow these steps:

Open the Control Center on your Apple device and tap the
AirPlay icon in the audio card.
Select “Denon CEOL” from the AirPlay Devices list.
Choose the music you want to play from your iPhone, iPod touch,
iPad, or Mac.

To enjoy music with Bluetooth, follow these steps:

Press “Bluetooth” on the CEOL to select Bluetooth. The CEOL
will automatically enter pairing mode if it’s the first time using
Bluetooth.
Activate Bluetooth on your mobile device.
Select “Denon CEOL” from the Bluetooth device list on your
mobile device.
Play music using any app on your mobile device.

2 Tv-audio aansluiten (optioneel)
1 Sluit één uiteinde van de HDMI-kabel aan op de
TV-poort met het label “ARC” of “eARC”. De CEOL ondersteunt de eARC- functionaliteit niet, maar u kunt hem toch op een eARC-poort aansluiten om de ARCfunctionaliteit te gebruiken.
2 Sluit het andere uiteinde van de HDMI-kabel aan op de
HDMI ARC-poort op de achterkant van het CEOL.
OPMERKING · De tv-aansluiting wordt gebruikt om audio door te geven naar het
CEOL vanaf de ingebouwde bronnen van uw tv (tuner, smart tv-apps, enz.) en HDMI-apparaten die zijn aangesloten op uw tv. Het CEOL genereert geen video- uitvoer. · Zorg ervoor dat de audio-uitvoersectie in het instellingenmenu van uw TV is ingesteld om alleen 2ch PCM audio uit te voeren. Dolby Digital- en DTS-audio worden niet ondersteund.

3 Verbinden met een bekabeld netwerk (optioneel)
Als u CEOL verbindt met een bekabeld netwerk, sluit u een ethernetkabel (niet meegeleverd) aan tussen de CEOL en uw router. Sluit de ethernetkabel niet aan als u de CEOL verbindt met een draadloos netwerk.
· In stap 4 zullen we u uitleggen hoe u verbinding kunt maken met een draadloos netwerk.

4 Gebruik de HEOS-app om de instelling van CEOL te voltooien

Het ingebouwde HEOS-apparaat voor de eerste keer instellen
1 Ga naar de Apple App Store, Google Play of
Amazon App Store en zoek “HEOS” om deze app te downloaden en te installeren.
2 Start de HEOS-app en volg de instructies in de app.

Ik heb minstens één ingebouwd HEOSapparaat ingesteld in mijn netwerk.
Als u de HEOS-app al hebt en minstens één ingebouwd HEOSapparaat hebt ingesteld, volgt u de onderstaande stappen om het CEOL toe te voegen aan uw draadloos netwerk.
1 Selecteer de pictogram instellingen in de linkerbovenhoek van het hoofdmenu “Muziek” om het menu Instellingen weer te geven.

2 Selecteer “Apparaat toevoegen” in het menu Instellingen
van de HEOS-app en volg de instructies: Instellingen

· U moet de toets CONNECT op het achterpaneel van dit toestel gebruiken

wanneer u dit toestel verbindt met een draadloos LAN-netwerk. Plaats

dit toestel in een positie waar de toets CONNECT binnen bereik is tot de

netwerkconfiguratie is voltooid. Als u de toets CONNECT niet kunt bereiken,

kunt u ook de toets HEOS op de afstandsbediening gebruiken. In plaats van

de toets CONNECT, houdt u de toets HEOS minstens 2 seconden ingedrukt.

afspelen en druk vervolgens op ENTER.

· Gebruik de HEOS-app voor het bedienen van uw apparaat en selecteer uw favoriete TuneIn-radiozender om af te spelen op uw apparaat.

· U kunt audio ook via AirPlay afspelen vanaf een app die u gebruikt op uw iOS-apparaat. Open de app, tik op het pictogram AirPlay en tik dan op een luidspreker of tik op meerdere luidsprekers.

Genieten van muziek met Bluetooth
1 Druk op Bluetooth om Bluetooth
te selecteren. Wanneer u dit voor de eerste keer gebruikt, gaat CEOL automatisch naar de koppelingsmodus.
