Warranty Information

The Bulletproof Vibe carries two types of warranties.
Warranty One is a 1-year free replacement of the motor, switch and connecting electrical lines.
Warranty Two covers everything else for life.
If anything happens to the frame, top plate or feet, let us know and we will fix the problem free of charge.
The only fine print is that for either Warranty One or Warringty Two to apply, Bulletproof Vibe must be delivered to the manufacturing facility in Texas.
If the Bulletproof Vibe has any problems outside of the warranty period, we offer refurbishing services for your unit. Please send us an email at support@upgradedself.com to get a quote for refurbishing your unit as charges may vary.

About Whole Body Vibration

Whole body vibration has been used since the 1960’s when the technology was initially discovered by Russian cosmonauts. Whole body vibration therapy is being used to regain muscle strength, increase bone density and to reduce recovery time from many types of injuries. Because of the many benefits WBV offers, it has become a favorite of several universities, professional sports teams, and medical facilities.
The vibrations from the Bulletproof Vibe are transmitted to the body by either the hands or feet. Your body naturally adjusts to the movement by using a stretch reflex reaction which has positive neurological effects on the brain. After the treatment, the brain is stimulated and functions in a healthier state.
Other fantastic benefits of the Bulletproof Vibe are its ability to help patients heal up to two times faster than they do using conventional training alone. Each session on the Bulletproof Vibe lasts no longer than 15 minutes, and the attached timer allows the patient to control their workout duration.

Bulletproof Vibe Initial Setup

The Bulletproof Vibe comes pre-assembled and ready-to-run right out of the box.
However there are a few things to be careful of when you first set up your Bulletproof Vibe:

Be very careful when cutting the zip ties on the power cord. If using a knife or razor blade, cut away from yourself and take extra care not to cut or damage the power cord. If the insulation is cut, this may present an electrical shock hazard.
Once you have released the power cable and timer switch, place the Bulletproof Vibe in a convenient location with the “Bulletproof Vibe” decal facing away from the power source. If you are moving the unit, be sure that the “Bulletproof Vibe” decal is facing away from the power source.
Now that you have placed the Bulletproof Vibe, run the power cable from the back of the Bulletproof Vibe and under the frame rail. Make sure the “Bulletproof Vibe” decal is facing forward and this will ensure the cable will not make contact with the rotating weight when the Bulletproof Vibe is powered on.
You have the option of mounting the timer switch to a nearby wall with the supplied screws. If you choose to do this, try to locate a stud to screw into or use sheetrock anchors when mounting the switch to the wall. This will ensure the switch will be securely fastened to the wall and will not come loose.
For concrete, wood or tile floors it may be desirable to install “silent feet.” These are small rubber compound pads that can reduce noise. These are available for sale at http://www.vibrationsolution.com
If you have completed the installation, you are now ready to use your Bulletproof Vibe! Simply turn the timer to the desired length of time and the Bulletproof Vibe will automatically turn on and shut off after the selected time has passed.

How to Use Bulletproof Vibe

There are several ways to experience benefits from the Bulletproof Vibe. The most common (and easiest!) is to simply stand on the Bulletproof Vibe. The vibrations will travel from the feet through the spine and into the head. You will experience true Whole Body Vibration this way.
If you wish to enhance the session, you can add head or shoulder weights to aid in correcting curvature issues. Also, rotating the head side to side helps to loosen the neck and shoulder muscles. Consult your Doctor or Chiropractor before beginning any corrective exercises.
Time spent on the Bulletproof Vibe can be adjusted up to 15 minutes depending on the patient and the type of benefit desired. Some people may need to start at shorter time intervals (5 minutes or less) to get accustomed to the vibrations and can gradually increase time as they are able.
Any movement performed while standing on the Bulletproof Vibe will have increased benefit! Stretching will be more effective, fitness routines return better results and normally unused muscles and tissue will be stimulated. To put it simply, any time spent on the Bulletproof Vibe is beneficial!

Maintenance

There are very few moving parts on the Bulletproof Vibe. This means there is very little upkeep or maintenance needed. The main thing is to make sure the power cord is correctly run out the back of the Bulletproof Vibe and is not near the rotating weight on the front of the motor.
Once per year, lift the Bulletproof Vibe on its side and either vacuum or blow off any dust or debris that has accumulated in or around the motor.
Check the moving parts of the motor assembly for foreign objects that may have become wrapped around the shaft or other motor parts.
