OVERVIEW
SAFETY WARNINGS
Please read and understand the safety considerations before using or repairing the equipment.
- The equipment can’t be used in high-temperature and humidity environments.
- To ensure normal use of the equipment, the environment noise must be lower than that of the object measured.
- If you not use the equipment for a long time, please take out the battery, to prevent the instrument from being damaged for liquid leakage.
- If the equipment is used outdoors, a windshield can be installed on head of the MIC.
- Environment conditions for using: The height shall be lower than 200 m, the relative humidity is s 80% RH, the working ambient temperature is 0-40°C, used indoors.
Introduction of the Product
The noise meter can be used for measurement of noise or volume in various
places, such as plant equipment, office, road traffic, household and audio
etc.

Product Functions
This product is a sound level meter with the highest precision, the precision can be up to ±1.5dB.
- The sound level meter meets the standards of IEC651 TYPE2 and ANSI S1 .4 TYPE 2.
- Measurement range:30-130 dB.
- A and C weighing network selection.
- FAST/slow reaction rate selection, as well as the response features of modes A (simulating human ears), and C (mechanical noise), so that the measurement is more accurate.
- When the device is turned on, the sleep (10 minutes) & automatic shutdown function (20 minutes) are enabled by default, and an alarm clock icon will be displayed in the upper left corner of the device. Long press the A/C button to turn off or activate this function.
Operating Instructions
- Long press “HOLD” for booting.
- Press LEVEL keys of “ ” or “ ” to select proper shift for measuring current noise (the alarm symbols of “UNDER” and “OVER” shall be not indicated).
- If the noise felt by human ears is measured, please select dBA, if high-intensity mechanical noise is measured, please select dBC.
- If real-time noise needs to be read, please select “FAST” mode; if current mean noise needs to be read, please select “SLOW” mode.
- Press “MAX/MIN” key to lock the maximum and minimum.
Remark:
- When the dB value is low: “30-63.3”, no evident harm, the simulation bar indicates green.
- When the dB value is “63.4-96.6”, which has large influence on people and environment, the simulation bar indicates yellow.
- When the dB value is “96.7-130”, which is very harmful for people and environment, the simulation bar indicates red.
