- Use the AIRBRICK register booster fan only as described in this user manual. Do not modify or attempt to repair the device.

Product Features
Installation instructions
Step 1
Turn off your HVAC system before installation.
Step 2
Remove the current register grill from the wall or floor.
Step 3
Check the register hole size to ensure it matches the dimensions of the
AIRBRICK register booster fan (4 x 10 inches).
Step 4
Insert the AIRBRICK into the register hole, ensuring a proper fit.
Step 5
Secure the device in the register hole with the two screws provided in the
package, or use the previous screws.
Step 6
Lay out the cable into the side nearest to the power outlet and use the zip
tie to secure it.
Step 7
Plug the power adapter’s cord into the power receptacle of the AIRBRICK
register booster fan.
Step 8
Plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet.
Step 9
Turn on your HVAC system and adjust the register booster fan settings if
needed.
Note: Do not install the AIRBRICK register booster fan on the ceiling or in a location where it may come into contact with water or moisture.

Battery installation
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, burn, or injury, use only the specified battery type for the remote control (CR2025). Use of an incorrect battery may present a risk of fire or explosion. Do not recharge, disassemble, or dispose of the battery in fire. Keep away from children. If swallowed, contact a physician immediately.
AIRBRICK Adjustment
Boost your existing AC or heating system’s airflow with AIRBRICK. Set the
temperature points for fan activation when the airflow temperature goes below
or above the cooling or heating trigger settings.
With 10 adjustable fan speeds, customize your desired airflow boosting,
keeping in mind that faster fan speeds will create more noise.
Monitor your airflow temperature accurately by using our default screen
display. Please note that our temperature display mode measures the airflow
temperature, which is different from your AC or heater’s thermostat reading.
Current Airflow Display
The Current Airflow screen displays the temperature in the duct measured by the temperature measuring sensor on the back panel. This temperature reading helps determine the baseline for heating and cooling triggers. Additionally, you can switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius by pressing the and buttons. To do so, simply press and hold either button until the screen changes units.
Fan Speed Adjustment
The AIRBRICK register booster fan has 10 fan speeds, ranging from 1 to 10.
The default fan speed is 5, and you can increase or decrease the fan speed by
pressing the and button on the control panel.
Keep in mind that the higher the fan speed, the louder the noise level and the
greater the boost to airflow. It’s important to find the right balance between
airflow and noise level that works best for your needs.
Brightness Adjustment
To adjust the brightness of the AIRBRICK display, press the Mode button to navigate to the Display Brightness screen. Here, you can choose from four different brightness levels, with level 3 being the brightest and 0 will turn off the screen. To turn on the screen press any button, it will return the brightness to level 3. Adjust the brightness to your personal preference for optimal viewing or turn the screen off completely.
Out-of-the-Box Settings
Heating Trigger Adjustment
The Heating Trigger mode is used to set a temperature threshold for the fans
to activate. This is not the desired temperature you want for your room. It’s
the temperature that comes out from your register when the boost should start.
When the thermal sensor temperature is equal to or higher than the heating
trigger temperature, the fans will turn on. Otherwise, the fans will remain
off. To set the heating trigger temperature, press the and buttons.
For proper calibration of the register booster fans, turn on your heater and
wait for the thermal sensor temperature to stabilize. Set the heating trigger
temperature to this number or a few degrees lower.
Cooling Trigger Adjustment
The Cooling Trigger mode is used to set a temperature threshold for the fans
to activate. This is not the desired temperature you want for your room. It’s
the temperature that comes out from your register when the boost should start.
When the thermal sensor temperature is equal to or lower than the cooling
trigger temperature, the fans will turn on. Otherwise, the fans will remain
off. To set the cooling trigger temperature, press the and buttons.
For proper calibration of the register booster fans, turn on your AC and wait
for the thermal sensor temperature to stabilize. Set the cooling trigger
temperature to this number or a few degrees higher.
FAQ
What is the AIRBRICK register booster fan used for?
The AIRBRICK register booster fan is used by inserting it into the wall or floor register to boost the airflow and let more cooled or heated air in.
Is it possible to disable one of the triggers to avoid any false triggering?
The triggers cannot be disabled, but you can adjust the triggering threshold to increase or decrease the sensitivity of the trigger. For instance, if the AIRBRICK is heat-triggered at 85F degrees on a hot summer day and blows hot air in, instead of waiting for the cooled AC flow, you can increase the heating trigger to 100 degrees to prevent unwanted heat.
Is it possible to completely turn off the screen?
Yes, the screen can be dimmed to the lowest brightness level 1 or turned off completely (level 0). To turn the screen on - press any button on the device or remote to get back to brightness level 3.
Can I use the same remote control for multiple AIRBRICK units installed in different rooms?
Yes, the AIRBRICK remote control can be used to operate all units (one-by-one) installed in different rooms.
Does the AIRBRICK booster fan have a filter?
AIRBRICK register booster fan doesn’t have a filter.
Does the temperature displayed on the screen represent the room temperature?
No. The temperature displayed on the screen represents the current temperature in the duct behind the booster fan. The reading is obtained from the back wall sensor of the AIRBRICK register booster fan.
Warranty
AIRBRICK stands behind its product and provides a one-year limited warranty
that covers manufacturing defects and malfunctions. The warranty is effective
from the date of purchase and applies to all orders, purchases, receipts, and
use of AIRBRICK products sold by authorized points of sale. If the product
becomes defective or unusable due to material or workmanship issues, AIRBRICK
will take appropriate actions as defined in this warranty to resolve the
problem.
The warranty does not cover abuse or misuse of the product, such as physical
damage, submersion in water, incorrect installation, or misuse for any
purposes other than those intended. AIRBRICK is not responsible for any
consequential or incidental damages caused by the product.
Please note that the warranty program will expire one year from the date of
purchase, and it does not warrant damage from normal wear and tear and
scratches or scoffs.
