The Metal Mailbox Post is a durable and sturdy post designed for mounting mailboxes. It comes in two height options: 41 inches or 58 inches. The post is made of metal, ensuring long-lasting performance and resistance to weather conditions. The package includes all the necessary hardware for installation.
Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Set post height
- Decide on the desired height for your mailbox. We recommend 41 inches above the ground for easy access.
- If you want to bury the post, adjust the post height to 58 inches.
- To adjust the post height to 58 inches:
- Using a wrench (not included), remove the single attached bolt.
- Lift the post base carefully to avoid scratching it.
- Match the hole with the threaded hole on the post base.
- Start screwing in the bolt by hand.
- Install bolts to all four threaded holes using a wrench or socket wrench.
Step 2: Mount Post
- Decide on the mounting method: burying and cementing the post or bolting the base to the ground.
- If burying and cementing:
- Dig a hole approximately 18 inches deep.
- Place the post in the hole, ensuring that the post sleeve is on top to protect it from water and weather.
- Cement the post securely in place.
- If bolting the base to the ground:
- Leave approximately 41 inches of the post above the ground.
- Use the bracket holes provided to mount the post securely to the ground.

Step 1) Set post height
The Metal Mailbox Post can be 41”, or 58” in height. We recommend about 41”
above ground as a comfortable height to access your mailbox. If you choose to
bury the post, we recommend adjusting the post to 58”, digging a hole (18”
deep min.), and mounting the post in cement. To adjust post height to 58”:
- Remove the single, attached bolt using a wrench (not included)
- Extend the post base to find the threaded hole.
- Install bolts to all 4 threaded holes using a wrench or socket wrench.
Step 2) Mount Post
The Metal Mailbox Post may be bolted to the ground or buried and cemented
in. Please consider the following when mounting the post:
- Ensure the post “sleeve” is on top. This helps to protect the post from water and weather.

- We recommend you bury the base of the post and cement in (58”) or bolt the base to the ground (41”).
