Symbol Usage
Take special note of all information marked with the following symbols:

  • “Non – recyclable” mark: located on the product, instruction manual or package, indicating that electrical and electronic equipment and its accessories should be treated separately from ordinary household waste.
When scrapped, it should be treated as industrial waste, otherwise it may cause accidents.

ABOUT YOUR DEVICE

The Voltre™ M2 Electric Vehicle Charger supplies 100 – 240V AC power to your electric vehicle. It is designed to control and monitor energy delivery from the residence’s electrical service wiring to your electric vehicle. The Charger monitors current and battery state of charge to ensure the quickest, safest transfer of power to recharge the vehicle’s propulsion battery.
You can safely and conveniently connect the charger to your vehicle’s charge receptacle for battery recharging. When the EV charger connector is connected to the vehicle receptacle, a communication link is established between the vehicle and the charger. The charge cycle initiation is automatic and is subject to the demand of the vehicle.

CHARGING YOUR VEHICLE

NOTE:
Ensure that the car is parked and the engine is turned OFF. Ensure the EV charger is not damaged before use. Ensure to finish Setting configuration (Step 5) before connecting the Charge coupler to your vehicle.

  1. Insert the charging plug into an appropriate wall outlet. If your home voltage is Level 1 (120V), please connect and use the 5-20 adapter. If your home supports 240V, you can use Level 2 charging with 14-50 plug/outlet connection.
  2. With the adjustable current function, you can adjust the charging current using the current switch button – you can see the selected charging current on the LCD display. Level 1 (120V AC) can only support a maximum current setting of up to 16A. Level 2 (240V AC) supports up to 32A.
  3. Plug the Charge Coupler into your vehicle’s charging outlet until it clicks. Once latched, the Charge Coupler will not disengage until the release button has been pressed manually.
  4. Charging begins automatically. Power will be delivered in accordance to the demand of the vehicle. During charging, the Charging Indicator light on the LED display will blink continuously. You can also verify the vehicle charging status by checking your vehicle’s charging panel “dashboard gague”. Refer to the vehicle owner’s manual to find the location of the gauge on your dashboard.
  5. When the vehicle is fully charged, the Charging Indicator light will stay solid. Your vehicle’s “dashboard gauge” can be used to verify that the vehicle is fully charged.
