Product Usage Instructions

1. Before putting the device into operation, read the supplementary sheet provided.
2. Ensure that work on the mains supply is only carried out by qualified professionals or instructed persons under the supervision of qualified skilled electrical personnel.
3. Disconnect the supply before installing the device. Note that the device is not to be used to isolate other equipment from the main supply.
4. Follow the installation regulations for low voltage as DALI is not SELV.
5. The device can be conveniently operated with accessories. For simple requirements, settings can also be made on the device itself.
6. To assign a group ID, use the HEX rotary switch in accordance with the position of the DIP switch.
7. To set the type of manual control, use DIP switch A.

| Function
| DALI pushbutton module with 4 binary inputs for hidden mounting behind flush mount switches.
The device is supplied with operating voltage via the DALI bus.
With the DIP switches the various operating modes can be selected. The HEX rotary switch is for realizing either Broadcast or group control.
The complete functional range can be activated using an accessory.

Mounting

The device can be conveniently operated with accessories. For simple requirements, settings can also be made on the device itself.

A group ID can be assigned using the HEX rotary switch and depending on the DIP switch position:

The type of manual control can be set with DIP switch A:

• Pushbutton (state evaluation)
• Switch (Edge evaluation)

With the DIP switches B and C various master modes can be set:

• Standard
  • Short press: On / Off
  • Long press: no function
• Staircase mode
  • Short press: On for one minute
  • Long press: no function
• Scene control
  • Short press: Scene[HEX] Off
  • Long press: no function
• Dimming value
  • Short press: 100% / Off
  • Long press: no function

LED function indicators

• A red LED shines when the DALI bus tension is available.
• The device further comprises a signaling component emitting sound during the addressing process.

Troubleshooting

2. The LED is on, but the state of the connected luminaires remains unchanged after having pressed the push button.
