USING INSTRUCTIONS

Thanks again for purchasing your new 409 stainless steel Pype’s Performance Exhaust 05-10 Ford Mustang X/H Pipe. Please be sure to confirm all the components in the kit were recieved in your shipment before begining installation. These kits will include your new mid pipe, two front legs with 02 bungs and two HVC12 band clamps. If you find any component missing, please contact our office at 800-421-3890 for replacement. For a quicker and tighter installation. air tools are recommended. Technical assistance is available both online at www.Pypesexhaust.com or 800-421-3890.

  1. Start by loosely installing the DFM55 leg to the back of the HDR55S headers using the supplied hardware followed by the X or H box mid section. Use the two HVC21 clamps to connect the downpipes to the box.
  2. Next install your cat-back system to the tail of the H or X box with the factory butt connect clamps.
  3. Make sure the X/H-Box is flat and your cat-back system is in line before tightening the HVC21 clamps along with the connection to the headers.
  4. Finally, reinstall the 02 sensors in there appropriate order and connect them to the main harness.
  5. Your installation is now complete! Start your Mustang and check for leaks. A periodic check is recommended to ensure the system is operating properly.

Disclaimer- Federal law prohibits the use of XFM65 and HFM65 for street use. Check with state and local authorities for the legal use of catted versions. An aftermarket tune is required for headers and most mid-pipes that either delete or use high-flow cats.
