JBC-PHB-SA-PHBS-Large-PCB-Support-PRO

Product Information

The PHBS Support is a PCB support tool designed for use with PCBs up to 36x28cm/14×11 inches. It is compatible with the PHB-SA reference model. The support comes with a clamp knob, rubber cap, Allen key, sliding guide, and slot clamps. The maximum PCB dimension between clamps is 36×28 cm/14×11 inches, with a thickness of 6 mm/0.236 inches. The support features a guide knob height adjusting system and offers three height adjustment positions: low level (28 mm), medium level (38 mm), and high level (48 mm). It also includes a fast PCB replacement mechanism using sliding guides.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. To change the height of the support, follow these steps:
    • To raise the support, hold the base and pull up.
    • To lower the support, press the button and move down.
    • Choose one of the three height adjustment positions (low level, medium level, or high level) according to your working needs.
  2. To replace PCBs quickly using the sliding guides, follow these steps:
    • Loosen one sliding guide, pull it back, and lift out the current PCB.
    • Position the new PCB and tighten the sliding guide knobs.
  3. If you need to work with PCBs larger than the support or thicker than 3mm, use the four rubber caps provided. Follow these steps:
    • Remove the screw caps and screws along with both guides.
    • Place the PCB on the four rubber caps.
    • The PCB is now ready to work.
  4. For maintenance, ensure the support has cooled down before proceeding. Clean the support periodically, especially the axes of the sliding guide, using a damp cloth. Alcohol can be used to clean the metal parts only. Replace any defective or damaged pieces with original JBC spare parts. Repairs should only be performed by a JBC-authorized technical service.
  5. The PHBS Support complies with CE standards and is ESD-safe.
